what happened?  I saw these news articles talking about open beta for Mythos was supposed to happen like a week or two ago and when i went to the main site it's like it's hidden or never even been announced...What happened?  Also, why is there not a main forum for this game?  There are a ton of followers.

Ok , I have been following this game just a little. From what I understand they are going to open a new section of world up. Also, they are revamping it to where it's a full world and not sectioned. If you remember D2  from act 1 to act 2 the small load time. I guess they are doing away with this. From what I understand it hasn't been implimented yet. SO! no open beta yet.

Also :) stop asking me when Open Beta is, the answer will still be "We haven't officially decided yet. We want Overworld to be successful before we move on in our test phase".

Basically, as I indicated in a previous post, Overworld is a a huge change and needs to be tested thoroughly before Open Beta.

Mythos did say they want open beta soon. But they have revamped the entire game. So far there are, 3 "regions". They say there will be continuous expansion of content, so the number of regions will surely increase. Right now the regions correspond to about lvl30 characters, though you can get up to lvl 50, so the more regions are certain. Before, there were a number of "towns" in each region. Once visited you could warp from one to the next or you could "walk" to them by moving/fighting along "paths" to them. The big change is what they are calling the "Overworld" which is simply a large map of each region rather than these "paths". Much better fo sho. It will likely delay the open beta as it does need to be tested, but a huge improvement to the overall play of the game. 

This will be far and away the most popular free game out there when it goes out. I expect millions will play it.

. How many zones are you planning on having in Mythos before the game is released?

Our current plans are to start with the existing three zones. However, the new Overworld features allow us to extend the total content available in those zones quite a bit. So we’ll have about 50 levels of content to go through at launch.

 Thanks scorch, 3 zones right from the horses mouth. I thought they had more planned, but I guess the Overworld will be the answer to that need. Big changes lately.
