If anyone likes Mythos you can give Torchlight a go. It's very cartoony Diablo clone like Mythos. I think it's better in many ways, except it's single player only, which may make or break the deal.

Its only single player 4 a while. It goes multi player in a few months as far as I know.

Bought Torchlight at launch, and it's hella fun.  Nice graphics, but generally an old-school hack-'n-slash dungeon grind. 

I love it.  And supposedly the devs are able to play it in their offices on a netbook, so I guess it'll run on damn near anything.

Playing it on my laptop and looks awsome. Forgoten how much I like the Diablo style games and enjoying this one so far.....now roll on multiplayer:)

Can't spare the $20 right now, unfortunately. Hopefully I can scrape together the cash for it in the next few weeks. Stupid shitty economy...

I bought it as well, costs less than some MMORPGs monthly subscription fee after all. Having fun so far. Especially teaching my pet spells is nice.

The single player version of Torchlight is great. I can't wait for the MMO to come out The graphics are cartoony but very well done and polished. Gameplay is Exactly like the Diablo series which isn't a surprise since its made by the same people who did Diablo 1 & 2 also the original Mythos (before hanbisoft took over) and Fate(Pretty sure they did Fate not 100%)

Can anyone say "Fate" clone?

Or "Dungeon Runners" (If it's going MMO) clone?

The only difference between this and Fate is the graphics... that's it.  Everything else is EXACTLY the same down to the enchantments and what the NPCs say.. it's pretty sad.

can u say, the game is led by Travis Baldree, designer of Fate, and Max Schaefer and Erich Schaefer, co-designers of Diable and diablo 2, joined by the team that developed mythos, hence the similarities between the games.

Torchlight 2 in a few months, which will include multiplayer. Then they'll finnish up the Torchlight MMO, so far as far as we know, all they've done is the network coding and such. Though I imagine a lot from TL2 will be included in TL ONline.
