I'm thinking of trying Perfect World out. But I noticed that the classes are race based and that the races all have different starting areas. How hard would it be to meet up with a friend from a different race? And would we have to level up solo to be able to meet?

I think once you hit 15 or so you get a quest that automatically teleports you to the other 2 beginner areas so all you have to do is talk to a teleport master and you've got all the beginner/main cities early on in the game. If you play a girl character you can have male players fly you to the cities if you don't wanna level. You can fly yourself if you start as an elven race as they have wings from the beginning.

It isn't a pain to solo. Just do quests and you'll be level 15 in less than an hour.
