ok, so i've just finished a lovely 36 hour download of the Perfect World client    now when i start the launcher all of the buttons are in chinese or whatever language and i can't figure out how to start the game. i've tried just clicking every button available but nothing works. "supposedly" i DID download the english version. i've tried going to the official perfect world forums but the forums server seems to be down. here are some screens of what my launcher looks like

can somebody PLEASE tell me how to work this thing or what i need to do to fix it. i REALLY want to play this game and after waiting 36 hours for the download i'm determined to get this thing to work.

Well sorry to burst your bubble...but you donnot have the International version there. The servers I see listed on the bottom pic are the Asian ones.

If you are after the International version:

Tho I am not sure if it all works just yet. Many ppl still having problems with the patcher...as well as myself...

Additionally, click the MANUAL PATCH button and you will open browser to manual patch site.

You will then download v1-29xxx.cup file (36MB or so). Double-click it and manually patch the client.

The Auto-patcher is messed up - takes days.

 there are two types of the game, Perfect world (English) and perfect world Interational. The "English" verson is a cheap rip off where asians took the original asian game and put everything into a translator.. and not a good one. Hardly any Americans or english speakers play. International is an upgraded verson where a team actually took the game and improved the English system and brought it to America. It's not fully developed yet and up to speed with the Asian one, but at least you can understand everything.
