Perfect world is a nice game.

Lots of quests to do.

Down side for me... One sided PK after level 30 even though I chose NOT to PK or get PK'ed.

Otherwise a pretty nice game.

Game deleted because of the One sided PK crap!

I play for fun... getting PK raped is not fun!

If you like to pk... fine... I hate it!

Details?  How is it one sided?

Let it be known that I hate WoW with a passion and will defend almost any MMORPG against it.

You must have pissed someone off big time. I have been with this game since the beginning of OB and I can say that I have been a victim of PK less than a dozen times and this is nothing considering that I'm from one of the largest guilds on Oracle and we've been in a KOS/PK war with other guilds pretty much from the start.

Onesided means, if you are lvl 30 and outside the safezone(the towns), you dont need to ask ppl if you can PK them. no need to ask for a duel. just attack, kill the player and thats it..

and the guy above must be WL then  coz RB joined KOS only with MTH so not right from the beginning, and NE never joined any KOS war lol.  and BCK are just to new to have participated right from the beginning

Anyways then its a simple reason that you werent a victim of PKing for a lot of times. All members in that guilds are just to highlvl for a lot of ppl to PK them. And if you PK them, they will come back with a whole army of highlvls to give you the end of your days... so if you would play a char around lvl 30 to 40, you might understand what he means.

But to be honest, i always enjoyed the KOS wars we had

On the subject of PK'ing... I've played the MY-ENG version for over a month, never been looked at in a mean manner as of yet. Now you wan't to talk about PK'ing... Geez, you do NOT know what it is like to truly suffer. 2moons, now THAT is PK'ing! I died over 100+ times a day, sometimes 15 or more within an hour. Not because I was hated, or I was secretly the mastermind behind a 30+ guild alliance... Nope, I was killed based on my class. Ironically, a healer class that could raise the dead. But, even if I was soloing, out in some barren wasteland or something, if someone saw me... I'd become a popsickle. (Shoving their sword up my... lol) I have been battered in so many games, I look forward to getting Pk'ed somtimes. It brings back nostalgic memories lol.

Seriously tho, dying is a way of mmo life. Life sucks and then you die, then you respawn and die again. Get used to it. Even offline console games are like this. (Unless you use god-mode codes in every game you play and refuse to play a game without one of them.) Besides, in PW... The PK penalty for those that just attack you is quite steep, and gets much worse the more you do it. I heard of someone that had to spend 200 hours standing in town being bored, because they killed too much.  2moons would throw yer butt in prison for such an offense tho. Anyway, to play over a month and never get so much as a scratch, I'd say that is just fine. In 2moons, you'd be PK'ed soon as you hit the Parka Temple map. Even if you were a lowbie just up there exploring about. If they could kill you in the starting 'castle' maps or the one right after it... You bet they would.

It is called thinning the herd, you kill people and break their will. This gets rid of the whiners and the brats. Yes sir, we don't need weaklings in the MMO universe. If you aren't willing to die, get up and continue on... Then you won't be useful to anyone at all.

See? That was nothing. But that''s how it always begins. Very small.

The soon to be released internation version of PW (mainly for US folks) will have 2 servers.  One will be a free for all PK  - after lvl 30 anyone's fair game.  The other server will be a PK optional server.  You can only be PK'd out of the safe zone if you switch PK on.  Otherwise, you can only be challanged to duels, which you can decline if you so choose.   I'm not even going to get going on the subject of PK, but for those of you who liked the game, but not the PK system, then try the new version on the non-PK server.  Just a suggestion...and if that still doesn't sound good, then there's lots of other good free games out there

I don't know what you are all worried about. I've been playing PW-MY for over a year and very very rarely does anyone try to PK me. And when they do i just leave the area. I have never and I mean NEVER been killed by a PK'er. I've been playing with the same group for the whole time and they have had the same experience as I. But then again I guess theres a first time for everything. (knock on wood)

Edit: In my exerpience, Pk'ing is not that easy. It is pretty well balanced. The international version could be a bit different though.

This is the most narrowminded crap ive heard in a while, im sorry but you are wong plenty of adults prefer pve experiences over harsh pvp games, and the mmorpg universe does not revolve around only you or one type of player you need to get over it.

The true whinners are the ones who gripe about games like lotro, many are aware its pve focused if you dont like it play a pve game but we dont go around coming up with pathetic name calling about it.

A true adult does not feel the need to use the terms you just did if your really an adult then where is the sportsmanship? Where is the mature attitude? All your doing is judging people and by the way pvp is not about breaking someones will and it is not about real life mmorpgs are meant to be fun a break from real life.

Pvp is meant to be fun if people prefer harsh rules thats fine but for godsakes there is no reason to play pvp just because you think it gives you power its pointless and bad for you, and it makes people immature in some form or another.

A true adult pvper will admit defeat and learn and always respect the person they are fighting against and thats its only a game, if you want to break peoples will then you sir need to take a serious look at yourself.

To bad we don't live in a world full of those honorable True Adults that you speak of.

Sadly most adult gamers in my experience love to gank and pk all over the place. My biggest gripe with games like WOW and other MMOs is that there is no penalty for a max level character to simply just one shot characters 35 levels below them. It creates an uneeded hostile atmosphere that is uneeded.

Sadly a world full of True Adults who fight with honor and respect does not excist though I would love to live in the world of which you speak.

oh well...

I think PKing is part of every mmo,  it's true some people make it anoying for abusing on ganking lower lvls. But in my opinion, it just makes the journey to high lvl more dangerous, as you can always avoid being killed, you just have to be aware of your surroundings, makes it more thrilling. i'm not a PKer myself, i like PvE but PvP takes some juice into the game making the true objective of all games easyer.... we all sometimes forget that the objective here is always FUN.

The point of my original post is this:

1. I play for fun.

2. PK'ing is not something that I do.

3. Getting PK-raped isn't fun.

4. I should have the CHOICE of whether I want to play in OPEN PVPVE (player versus player versus environment) or PVE (Player versus Environment) ONLY!

The game has an option to turn off PK... but that evidentally was NOT implemented properly.

Good riddance to PW.

You joined a pk server rofl. You can't turn off pk on a pk server only on PVE servers.

Don't troll something because you misunderstood.
