I advice you to ask someone who has already played the game, and don't make such assumptions. While I admit I have not played the game myself -waiting for english version- chinese gamers and people I know who play regularly do have a very different oppinion on the way this game plays. It seems questing is mostly encouraged, and not too many quests are based on killing a certain ammount of mobs. In addition, quest xp is much greater than kill xp.

Most players I know compare this game to WoW, instead of games know for its "asian grinding" such as Lineage -which, after all, was a Korean product-

WoW is by no means the MMORPG I like the most -this "honour" goes to Ultima Online, by the way- but I am sure is not the game you think of when you hear "Asian Grind Crap"

It seems some developers have learned something. (while many others haven't learn anything, that's for sure)

Maybe you could either try the game by yourself with help of other english-speaking gamers (in order to understand what the game is all about and how is it supposed to be played, since only the chinese version is already up and running) or listening to their opinions on the matter before making such a bold assumption with nothing to back it.

Now, if you could back this statement with facts, or first/second hand opinions, we could have a talk. If not, there is no point in posting a thread like this in a forum.

Actually this is not a typical asian grind.  There are 5000+ quests in the game, and I can tell you being level 16 and completing just two quests and getting 50% in experience is no grind fest.    There is 360 degree flight and fight, though mobs that cannot attack you back will automatically regenerate their health.  There are 42 areas in the game to contest four.  That means there are 42 to clans that can own an region and another 42 clans that can contest those regions.  This game is so what Lineage 2 should have been, and I will tell you that I will play this game when it goes to english, though I am playing the Malaysia version right now.    You will never lose your weapons or armor no matter how much you try and enchant them.  You may lose the enchants but you will not lose the weapons or armor.  Crafting is awesome and you can craft better equipment than what you get from the store.

obviously you haven't played the game. you instantly judge it without a single clue what its like. quit assuming that its like other asian MMOGs and try it first. this game is the real deal and grinding is the last thing you'd describe perfect world.

"""How is a game where you can have your own house, you can fly, and makeout with a panda or foxgirl in "LAND,AIR, AND SEA"" "You can even take over cities and fortify them with altilery and stuff"" If this is considered ""grind crap"", than I dont know an existing MMO that isnt.
