Dear god.  I can't believe I tried this game.  What was I thinking.  Listen, this game looks like it was made by a couple college kids doing a class project.  Let me put it to you this way...it took me back to the 1990's.  I wouldn't waste my time with it.  I downloaded it since it was in it's last part of BETA.  Installed it, downloaded patches, etc.  Dungeon Runners is better than this game.  You can try it, but I don't see this game making the cut.  I can honestly say Vanguard is better than this game....

I'll tell you this much, you can say what you will about the graphics and such.  I've been playing regnum now for a little over a year, and there is something here that isn't available in other MMO's, and that is responsibility.  This is the only MMO I'm aware of where you can litterally have all your questions, concerns, critiques, and reccommendations replied to by the actual programmers and development team. 

If you are looking for EA's next big exploit, you won't find it here, but you will find a company that wants to win the favor of their customers, and will put the time and effort into it to do it.  I think these guys will make it, simply becuase they really want to make a game that the people want to play.

Hello..... everyone has their own taste, i DONT think this game is thats bad.... moreover this game has its own gameplay that i think autentic. so dont just say that this game is lame coz this game is batter than frucadia.

I agree with you 100%. This game is CRAP. This game is full of bugs. I could understand if it was in its first few weeks of beta, but this far along? bla.

Installing froze my computer twice. patching never responded with results....i just sat there wondering when it was going to be done...when it was at 100%, but you cant click the play button. restart it, then rinse/repeat till you finally get a play button.

scripting errors when turning in quest rewards.

Missing text from the help menu. (thought it was just me at first...but find that everyone is the same way...or atleast who speaks english)

another issue....i know its originally spanish made for spanish speakers....but what the hell....how can i trade with someone when i dont know what they are saying. maybe seperating servers into languages like most companys do to help with that issue.

graphics?  just like he said....way back in the 1990's...a bit dated to say the least.

I will give them this though....the controls were nice. typical WASD, left mouse select, right mouse control camera. pretty smooth too.

I know its still beta phase, but im not impressed enough to even bother with it later on.

hey guys , why all the negativaty? if its only at the end of beta phase theres gonna be a few little things wrong. u gotta admit secondlfe has gotta been going over a year or 2 n theres loadsa bugs  so wait a while n give it another go , n if u still dnt lke it i give u my permission 2 punch me

dude this game is better than most. this game was made by a team of 7 or something. the've done good you have to give them some credit for that. also try playing the game more before judging it. also the game doesnt take hours to download. with this game it's done in about 2hours and its free. it doesnt make you pay monthly. and is better than alot of other games i've seen. the graphics arent great but they dont need to be. once you get to the warzone your hearts beating 5 times a second. this game is good guys ignore these people

So, in terms of graphics, you can never compare it with L2 or WoW because there are million of dollars an hundreds of developers of difference... since the gameplay is very interesting and community is great, it's a game that, if you don't like to be amused only by graphics, it should fit you well... The english community is getting bigger, there are clans (guilds) in every realm... for those that say: "They all speak spanish, or spanish = poop" Are short-minded, just ask in-game for an english guild and someone will help you... every guild will initiate you and help you during the game. It seems that someone is able to review a game without a proper test...

Regnum is one of the best MMORPG games I played, and I say this even if it has no good graphics as WoW or L2 and if it has 10000 things less, it's free and you never get tired of playing... you never participated in a war in the game, check youtube... plenty of good videos:

you have to be honest.. theres a ton!! and i mean a whole crapload of other better looking, better 'fun' factor mmo's out there.. this looks like it could run on a supernintendo platform.. like seriously.. dear lord i know its a small team of people.. but why not just make it a text based mmorpg... i mean seriously.. my grandma can make a better character graphics then what they have..

and for those of you who say "oh well it has good gameplay so graphics dont matter"   WAKE THE F UP!!! theres about 25 games i can name off the top of my head that have a great gameplay and LOOK GOOD!!! gawd..

if you`re so full of it, at least back it up with some examples then. if the list of flaws is that big, it`s not hard to at least get a "drop 10" of most annoying flaws.

yer so the graphics arent as good as other games like WoW where you can see nose hairs sticking out of a person's nose wtf do you expect from a game for its graphics to be pricise and detailed in every single way you want that step outside as suprising as it sounds its a game where you go to war not a game where you observe the scenery and say oh wow look at that tree its so super awesome and its rendered so well or o man that spell looks fricking awesome dude(some of em do really) if you wanna observe the scenery go outside instead of putting games down for not having graphics up to your standards the reason i like this game is because it doesnt take 20 hours to download half of it and your not wasting your money on it the game doesnt need good graphics i think the graphics are at a good standard anyway if you had just played this game and given it a chance instead of sitting their saying o thats bad thats not good thats terrible detail you mighta liked this game well too bad for you anyway whys a game gotta have detail anyway the level of it in this game is at a decent standard i think and about the nintendo thing it mighthave but when you think about it if that would be true that would take away other people which would take away opponents which would make the game crap dont listen to the losers that say the game isnt good its cause they havent gotten to the best part

Been playing MMO's since back in 1997 with UO and since then things have moved away from complex and interesting gameplay with complex player run social structures and economies to simple games with eye candy.

I no longer care about graphics, its about how good the game plays, and its depth and structure.

Go take a look at introversion software. Small little company who's games look like atari games, but the game play can keep you playing for 100's of hours.

Graphics mean nothing with out game play to match.

Man, you really have no idea what your talking about. i doubt there are many better f2p mmo's out there than regnum. the graphics arent even that bad if you compare it to the 3rd most popular mmo in the world, Runescape. And we all know how heavily that sucks. Your a bit brief on why you hate it

Havent played regnum online, guild wars or lunia, but ive played 9dragons and it SUCKED.

rappelz was fine, but there was barely any character customization and i couldnt find someone to help me with the tutorial, and 2moons is fine, but incredibly laggy

ok so the graphics sucks i can get over that..however the controls really sucked

its wasd which is my prefered control setup with one major aspect missing..to turn you MUST use a and d, no you cant look with your camera while holding w down and go where your looking..to me that is an epic failure that really slowed down how i moved and made the gameplay sluggish and fustrating...if you going to go the wasd rout you must offer movement based on camera angle or it just doesnt work right....i would even go as far as to say point and click would have improved gameplay

that with the fact that the game wasnt fun or offerd anything good and had a unfriendly community made me really regret the download

I was downloading till i looked at the "premium content" section.

They sell instant lvl 30 with a pile of cash.

They sell 3x experience for an hour, and other unfair items like that.

If a game sells fake acomplishments to all the lil impatient noobs, then its not worth playing imho.

hey hey hey rune scape isn't that bad they resently updated the grafix to the point were it laggs on my new comp even after getting AWSOME vedio card and my new cable conection... seriously DONT KNOCK RUNESCAPE!!!!

Firstly this game has THE BEST RVR I have ever seen in a F2P online game, secondly let me dispell a few of the idiots on this post,

Camera can be moved by holding the right mouse button (duh)

The premium items will not allow "lvl 50 noobs" even if you shell out £50 on a lvl 30 scroll and a bunch of 200% boosters it will still take you a month or so playing 4-5 hours a day, so this is only done by palyers with several other chars realy and unlike some other games Premium content dose not bias pvp or rvr in anyway towards p2p'rs

The early lvls suck, as do most games get to Wz then you will have fun, lvl 30 takes a week tops unless your lazy

Also there is now an english server "horus" and Invasions will be a feature soon, (woo)

Graphicaly its not great, I find it acctualy quite nice to look at if you have a good pc and turn all the graphics high/on in adv. options but I mostly play on low/normal to avoide lag in wars, But realy if you want shiny graphics go play to pay a game, or better yet go buy a PS3 or X-box 360, OR better yet go outside

But if you do join, for gods sake join Ignis or Alsius they need more people, and its painfull how many legolas wanna be's you see around syrtis

Still a bit buggy but the RVR is awesom, especialy for a F2P game, download wont take more than 2-3 hours tops either,

This is a game that once held all kinds of promise, but one that has been ruined by bad updates and MASSIVE, MASSIVE amounts of lag. The lag in this game is so bad at fort battles that it's barely even playable. I cannot even imagine what the lag for invasions will be like....as even in normal conditions just walking around a city is a lag-filled nightmare. Even worse, the "updates" are so drastic, that in reality, this game has almost no resemblance whatsoever to the game that NGD studios first released last year. For my money, the ORIGINAL RELEASE of Regnum is far better than this crap...

This game, really, is a joke.
