well was going to try jumpgate in reference to the new jumpgate evolution. simple design, fun combat, looked like a nice break from the other hi tech lookers.

.............until billing reared its ugly head, stay away from this one until they get it fixed, two days now since i tried to login after giving my credit info, baaaad idea, and still cant get in. it was only after my cardmember services contacted them that they returned an email (my telling them to cancel before i even got started) and said they would look into it. i forwarded the response to my cardmember services.

not the way to try and get in the good graces fo new customers, course this is the fastest i have quit a game lol, not even getting to login.

can you smell that?!!...............there is nothing quite like it.....................the smell of troll in the morning............i love that smell.

i am very much in the same boat.. except I got an added bonus... I guess you can read this any way you like, but either way it should not have been sent to me this way. So yea, I forgot to say my pilot name. big deal. I was annoyed when I was writing it and got distracted. But for that matter, my email address was included so they could have figured it out from there I suppose. We are obviously dealing with people who have no understanding of customer service. So here is the email convo I had with then. I personally dont care if they are annoyed with me or with the game. Telling a new player this  is bad business and shows a lack of professionalism unmatched. I suggest avoiding this game at all cost... <snip>

This is very annoying.  What is your account name?

I am a bit confused. I signed up for the trial account today, but when I go to my account info from your website, it shows me as cancelled. I
looked at my bank and I see the $1 charge verifying my credit card, so I dont know what the problem could be. I guess I just dont know where I stand.

Proving once again that the written word sometimes gets mis-understood due to the lack of verbal queues, I do believe you mis-understood what they were annoyed with.  I read it that they were annoyed that you were having this problem, and not with you.

ahh, but like I said in the message.. either way, they should not have been telling a new person their frustrations with certain elements of the game. Second, anyone who has the slightest understanding of customer relations would not have posted a message that could be taken several ways. Third, if they are indead having big issues with their billing, they are better off removing the billing system all together while they work on it. Billing systems are really not very complicated. I have written many of them myself.. and their are many many more out there that can be properly addapted to the system with very little work... The point is, why push your game so hard, if nobody can join it. Just an amature situation. With so many choices these days, I will just spend my money elseware and wait for the next big version before giving this one a shot.
