Hi All.  I've just started playing the Closed Beta, and I would naturally expect a lot of information to be sketchy, but almost nothing about the game itself is explained - not the Professions, the crafting systems or even daft things like what are these Heart Pieces I keep picking up are for.  Heading to a Seal or Circle Crafting NPC I have zero idea on what to do to make one, or even what you do with them when you get them!  The "Aging" thing for weapons/equipment, too - no idea on what to do to. Even the Mail Box is baffling me, as I sent an alt some money for basic stuff but when the in-game mail arrived I can't actually get the money!  Now it could be the thing is bugged (which is fair enough in Beta) but it might just be that I'm clickiing things and dragging things incorrectly.

If anyone has some little nuggets of information I'd be very grateful!

One handy tip I found myself through digging through menus is that the Quests are all given a Map location in the Quest Window, by clicking the Quest you want to do and then clicking the Magnifying Glass.  Loads of people haven't sussed this out yet.

I did fine http://pristontale2enigma.com/maps.phps which at leat shows the game map, and got me from Caeldorn to Phillai so that I could indulge in my love of exploring.  Most of the rest of the site isn't finished yet though.

Quite so.  I only just figured out how to use the talismans that resurrect you without losing xp, and haven't found anyone in the major towns that sells mana potions.  A good tip is to NEVER take healing potions as quest rewards, and talke the mana potions instead.  You can always buy healing potions off the vendor.
