Trickster Online is set on a fictional island in the Pacific Ocean in the aftermath of Don Cavalier's death. People from around the world have moved to this island in order to secure part of the man's fortune.

There are four classes, each represented by some sort of animal features on your character.

Gameplay includes the traditional hunting and questing, but also features a secondary skill point system as well as card game mechanics as another method of leveling. Grouping up is encouraged, as evidenced by XP bonuses based upon being in a party, and additional points based on party types. The game is free to play and item shop supported.
