I was once in closed beta (Euro before they booted all us US people) and waited patiently for the US beta after that, but every since I signed up at GnG I cannot log in, keep getting this error

pmi-sso-return-url doesn't exist.

My wife is also recieving this error, and we have tried everythiing. We even tried the tip they give in their forum... to no avail...

So I have tried to email them via their "contact us" button, I fill out my email info, etc, and I get

Blocked by Webmaster

so I say... wtf?? I am rapidly losing all interest in any of these farce games, after booting the US people (quite rudely, I might add, as they KNEW from our beta apps we aeren't Euro), and now these errors, really make me believe they genuinely don't give a %$*% about their potential customers, or anyone else for that matter... and GnG has really got me angry too now....

Now that I have vented, I was just a wondering, anyone else getting this, or know of a way around this crap? If not, I'm going back to real games....

I have a different problem. ravenmyst has a screenshot of it in the thread 'New Server Open for Everyone' in this forum. Upon pushing play button, we get the window entitled cabalonline.net/Download/PopDown.aspx and the fu**er just hangs. I have tried COUNTLESS times to bring this issue to the attention of G&G but with the goddam 'blocked by web master' issue they are stiil refusing to fix, I am unwilling to type a full report of the problem 6+ times till it takes the post. So I write terse 1-sentence comments instead, which of course people give idiot responses to: 'did you download the client?' 'You can't play CB unless you have e-mail' etc etc ad nauseum. My name is Ace over in those posts.

Yes, G&G are a shambles. I honestly can't see how ANY investor would buy ANY game promoted by them. Speaking of IP bans, what do you think of the RanGS IP ban they enacted on I believe it was the 16th. This company is WEAK.

I too was an EU CB Tester. I actually happened to LIKE this game. I'm a sucker for good graphics, always was. I refute the argument that 'gameplay is more important than graphics'. I am old school Apple IIe, by the way, so I've been round the block more than a few times. Give me a pretty game and I'll happily slog the grind. I am also an anime otaku. I support fan service. CO has this in spades. So does Last Chaos ^^ I've come a long way in Last Chaos all this time that I have't been able to log in to Cabal Online >.>

I used IE and clicked Play Cabal and i was able to download. But my downloader gets an error when i open so whatever.

Just to clarify: the issue that many of us are having is NOT a client download issue but a client launch issue. We already have successfully downloaded and installed the client. We are accepted closed-beta testers as we received the e-mail and can successfully log-in to cabalonline.net. Some of us have even played the game successfully (I am one of those). Our issue is that the downloader is bugging out and launching and hanging for whatever reason every time we try to PLAY THE GAME.

As from what I am assuming is the problem in your case, Adventi, tell your 3rd party downloader to ignore it. I have Stardownloader. I do not use it to download this client. I let the cabalonline downloader do the job. Takes longer, but ultimately safer, especially considering just how damned buggy the GSP client is turning out to be. Cancel out all the variables. Turn off your anti-virus software as well whilst downloading. I noticed that AVG will sniff out the cabal.exe 'virus' mid-stream, at two seperate points even, so if you don't want any unknown quarantining mid-download of certain packets I suggest cancelling your A-V till after install is done.

My wife and I loved the game, in the EU beta, but we can't even get to the downloader, as that damn Game N Game site blocks everything we do and will not let us log into our GnG accounts, with our passwords they sent in emails... which we need to get through the cabal site downloader.... when we try to go straight to cabalonline.net, it brings screen back to GnG error screen, everytime... no matter what we do, we get stuffed back to that damn error screen.

I thought maybe by some odd chance, someone from GnG would by chance see this and know how f%$#^d up their site is, but I guess that isn't gonna happen, and of course the webmaster there has conveniently blocked any and all correspondence to them, so we and I'm sure several others are just SOL.

With all due respect to G&G (chuckle chuckle *snort*), the 'blocked by webmaster' screen is in fact *cue in the reverb and bass boost*: SERVER ERROR. *ok cancel the fx now* So~ if you keep spamming your post to their forum, um... eventually~... you will actually succeed. Snag is, that every time you get 'blocked' you will have to re-type your entire post. Short sentences that one can spam are the order of the day. Rather like the one I spammed in a couple threads: 'MMORPG.com > cabalonline forums,  please look' Quick, short, easy to re-type and spam-post till I finally got it past the block. I wrote the meat of my statements here where the servers are PROFESSIONAL. Thank the Gods for MMORPG.COM.

I have said before and I will say again: I also am one of the EU-beta testers that actually LIKED this game. It's a dreadful shame Game-mas wouldn't acquire the NA licence and give JUSTICE to this game.

I noticed that the game didn't start up on my computer when I was running some specific programs - eMule for example. Game was going into the launching stage and it froze - after rebooting computer and with only Antivirus and firewall running I didn't have any problems with starting the game using method that Stalinfalcon suggested in his post [going through g&g site - thanks for that AGAIN! ]

Glad it's working for you. I still haven't been able to get back in-game since last week, I'm totally confounded. Hopefully it won't suddenly stop working for you as well.

Thanks... I was just tired of pointless flaming and arguments on some of the other forums and just couldn't resist this sentence on sig  ... Hmmm... but the one with the monkey is tempting as well.. hahaha I should use that for Silkroad forums
