Ok so as of today they are taking applications for the closed beta service, I filled mine out and am patiently waiting my confirmation email.

Alright so this morning i received my e-mail confirmation for the closed beta service, started downloading it about 5 hours ago and it's still nowhere near finished. Anyone else downloading this right now? Anyone playing right now???

I'm thinking that there is a rush of people downloading the game atm and bogging down the servers, so if anyone is playing please post.

IP Block for anyone in North America?  WTF!! We need to boycott these games that discriminate regionally. What is this?  Divide and conquer?  "Contractual obligations" my bootie.  Its discrimination plain and simple. I will refuse to play this game in any form and I urge you to boycott it as well. Only by working together and using one voice can we demonstrate to the corporate heads that we are not to be manipulated.

You know, Ted, that was my stance back when all us Euro-client testers got shoved out. Since then I have wavered in my stance and have been actively attempting to make this GSP client bloody run. I should probably salute you and reaffirm my vow to treat this game like a beautiful lover with a hideous plague and abandon her.

G&G have also enacted an IP ban for the NA version of Ran Online. 'RanGSP' client. They are banning all IPs from Asia and the South Pacific from accessing the NA client, in the name of 'server stability and the fact that Customer Support can only be offered in English.' I wish to point out two things:

1) Customer Support? WHAT Customer Support no matter the language! Hell, you can't even post on G&G's site without worrying about the 'blocked by web master' server-overload bug that they STILL haven't fixed.

2) I have yet to have any problems communicating in English with ANYONE from the South Pacific, liao~~

If your servers can't handle the stress, you should NOT be in the MASSIVEly multiplayer business. Period. Full stop even.

I think Im just going to wait untill the open beta comes, It shouldnt be too long anyway rgiht? Because this is rediculous how many problems there are.

1. The launcher looks so messed up, the start button and the bars are all out of place and everything.

2. When you open the game, it goes to a black screen, waits like 2 mins, then closes without issueing an error or anything.

3. It takes 5 hours to download and you cant use your own downloader.

I dont even get why thier doing closed beta when we cant even log on to play.

4. Some people are having problem with the launcher, which i am not but it doesnt matter since my game closes!

5. They dont even have a place where you can go to email them a problem or anything, all they have is a "Contact Us" button which really doesnt help considering its for buisness purposes. They need to get forums or something so we can actually issue the bugs we find!

Anyone know when this game will be released for NA? I would love to play it :P

I looked at this game, thought it was cool, watched the videos, got excited, was kinda hoping for alot. But I trust the word of the posters on these forums, I mean, thats what they are here for. I am appauld at how they were treated, and I also used G&G, and I know how to log in, and even how to log into nostale, but thats because instead of looking at it like a problem, I looked at it like a game puzzle and solved it. Heh, theres something wrong with that. This is terrible, screw that game, it shouldn't be a 'Conquest' to play a game about 'Conquest'. It was probably junk anyways.

If I had to guess I would say they are problably having copyright infringement issues stemming from the frequent reference of "the force" on their website.  LucasArts is very protective.

you guys can already download it???? Im eastern time so its still night here and its still planning closed beta test 2...I didnt know about the english sight untill today, so if anyone whos going to go into the closed beta test 2 invite me plzzzzz.
