The reason being, this game doesn't live up to it's hype at all for me. Its slow, repetitive, and boring. The best thing about it is the combo system.

When it was in beta for EUR there was all sorts of hype on American forums about this game. People spoke so highly of it all the time. I was under the impression that it had a lot of action, an open world (I forget where I heard that, so please dont ask), and an awesome fighting system. Upon playing, I found only one of those things to be true.

Maybe the game just starts EXTREAMLY slow or something. Im only level 19 right now so I wouldnt be too surprised if thats the case. Im not telling everyone, "Dont play this game it sucks," Im just saying Its not what I expected at all.

To each their own. Im going to give it a shot because it is free. Everyone should at least try it.

Lot of my old SOTNW buddys are playing it. I gave it a shot... but it pretty much confirmed what I thought.

I hate korean grind games. SOTNW wasnt bad cause it played itself... but K2 screwed it all sorts of up, and Cabal just brings back that old painful L2 grind. *shudders*

OMG guys its a F2P eastern based MMO. How does anyone expect a F2P MMO to not be grindy ??? Where will they make money if progression is fast ? The idea is to make the leveling slow long and boring so you buy some item to help make this long slow and boring process go quicker. That item can be Anything from exp bonus pill to weapons or even armor.

In the end i feel alot of gamers do not understand that the developers of F2P games are ding it to make money not to make somethign we all want to enjoy. Enjoyable MMO is almost a oxymoron now a days. I think i am just jaded now and maybe i have grown beyond the dull mindless grindfests all MMOs have become.

Grind for levels,Gear,Skills,Abilities,Faction,Crafting, Even rank.

Bleh, its work to me.

well it really is a question of what grindfest do you like best?

i like this one, its fun and has some unique things about it.

i wouldnt play mmo's if i didnt like to grind, and neither would you guys. dont be ashamed to love the grind in general.

the thing that gets me is nothing cool to look at and nothing to do but watch while i grind, this is why i like cabal, stuff to do and cool efx to look at while i grind and do standard issue mmo quests.

ahh yes all mmos are grinds (except the skill based ones I.E. UO and EvE) however, there is a difference in depth of grind.

For instance, in DAOC I can make a level 50 character in 8 hours or less. Thats such a shallow grind most dont feel it.

EQ1 with its AA's and such has a grind that could keep you busy for many months. That grind is painful and would require several advil.

Lineage 2 has a grind that could take as long as six months to go through, and there isnt a drug on the planet that could make that feel pleasant.

Asian MMO's such as Cabal, SOTNW, Rappelz etc are in the Lineage2 category... its also why they dont do so well.

EVE Online is almost perfect in my opinion. i hate the grind fests 90% of MMOs are today. i love Tabula Rasa as well because with a level cap of 50, who would want to rush?

this game does a lot wrong that could have been done very well easily
