All i can say is:

This is a good game. for a free game :) it has the best soundtrack i ever heard on any mmorpg out there... the combo system is pretty nice.. is alot of grind but quests give lots of exp :).. i only played as a wizard and i can say i have been having tons of fun im already lvl 20. Some dungeons are fun also

Yes there are bad things.. but what game doesnt have them. most chars look the same and some other things im sure will be fixed soon

For me Shaiya is much better.

It's to closed in for my playstile. among other small things. It will be great fun for the younger ones that like to run about.

Shaiya just seemed like a l2 rip off to me :P this one is very original :)

besides the usual grind fest moans, I have only heard good things about this game. Getting my laptop in two days, and once I get my laptop the first thing i'll do is download the client. Me and my dorm-mate cant wait to start playin.

That would be because it uses the same engine :D

Havn't tried Cabal, i might... not sure. I'm with Shaiya ATM :D

Things I liked..

• Art style is very nice.
• Animations and special effects are just beautiful.
• Soundtrack is okay if not a bit repetitive IMHO but the built in juke box player that you can customize is a big plus.
• Zones seem to be decently laid out.
• Combat is fluid and interesting.
• The combo system is fun and very interactive once you understand it.

Things I didn't like...

• The game world and towns seems very, very small.
• Instancing is way over done IMHO.
• The in game quests are boring and repetitive.
• The in game lore is either non-existent or just too convoluted.
• The repetitive grind of leveling is not broken up effectively.
• Lag will periodically get you kicked from the server
• Player customization in appearance and armor is almost nill.
• Only one race in game to play.
• Potion spam is not my cup of tea, especially for pvp games.
• The dungeons or what you can call dungeons are somewhat lame IMHO.

This is a nice free game but I wouldn't pay monthly to subscribe to it. This is probably a better alternative to Archlord.

Oh yeah almost forgot.....You have to be online to sell items, storage is limited, item mall mechanic in play and that's about covers it I think. I didn't try my hand at crafting yet so I can't comment on it.

P.S. Forgot one last item.....No Z-Axis so no jumping for you. :(
