Lockpick Entertainment has announced the beginning of the Dreamlords: The Reawakening Closed Beta.

It’s time to get busy! The Reawakening, Swedish online game developer Lockpick Entertainment’s follow-up to last year’s acclaimed MMO debut title Dreamlords, is commencing the Closed Beta test in exclusive co-operation with FilePlanet.com, a part of the IGN Entertainment network.

Long awaited, The Reawakening will start the beta testing today. Initially the beta test will be open exclusively to FilePlanet’s registered users, but will be public later next week.

So what is Dreamlords The Reawakening all about anyway?

The story continues where the original game left off: The world ended in a cosmic disaster (ouch) and the Cynos had to put the world to sleep to heal itself. Everything went black but after eons of silence, the Dreamlords slowly reawakens and begins to put the world back together.

Guess what, all is not what it seems though and it is not just the Dreamlords that has been awakened…
