Hero Online has announced that they are currently looking for participants for their Closed Beta phase. Not only that, but they have provided a set of instructions for just that purpose, check it out!

Time's of the essence for players who want to start playing the very first second you guys launch!
They should always put event times in announcements as GMT time to be on the safe side, as well as their own timezone of course. At least the main forum time is in GMT already.
Well then that would mean that if they launch 15 Jun 11a GMT-8:00, that would be 16 Jun 5a GMT+10:00 for me!
Well its June 14th and nearly 10pm here in the UK, did my sign up and activated my key a few days ago, and the website stated the Client Download would be available from today.
The client download in the Client Downloads section still goes 'plink' and informs me that the software will be available on June 14th, now give or take the time diffrence, its still June 14th today.
However...
If you click on the banner link to Start Game and Download Client, it will allow you to download a file called ares_setup.exe.
So im just wondering if im actually downloading the right thing, and if so, why would the Hero Online client be called ares_setup?
Anyone else found this to be the case?

Edit of 5 mins after post: Yes, it is the wrong download, it is the Ares client, so dont waste your time :)
Release of Download was revised to 14th (from 13th i think) game to open for players on the 15th.
Still no download, and for me in the UK its the 15th now, and stil lno client.
And yes i understand its Beta, and delays happen, but they could at least post an apology or announcement on the user forums concerning this situation.
LoL i smell panic behind the scenes at the Hero offices :)

(NOOB MODE ACTIVATED) HELP PLZ
Wish I'd seen this before I started the download...
Went to the site, got a d/l going, waited the 1.5 hrs for it to finish, and I got Legend of Ares client...
Don't say it... i DID CLICK the button for Hero Online...
and now, when I go back to the hero online site, it won't let me download it again..
Someone screwed up in a major way with this entire thing.
I'm done... I won't try again... fed up and beyond caring about this game.
Good luck to those of you who do manage to get the correct client and play...
The client is now avaialble off the official link on the website.
Game will go live 'allegedly' at 7pm GMT on the 15th.
Might see some of you in game :)

At the time im writing this 4am GMT (lol.. hell) everything seems to be offline for maintenance.
All i can suggest is try later, maybe they are having some teething trouble :)
