I don't understand this "I'll play it because it's free" mentality. I can go in my back yard find a pile of dog crap, put it on a plate and call it dinner, but that doesn't mean I'm going to eat it. Now, I know there are those who would find it tasty (besides my dog) but that doesn't mean they have a valid opinion. They are most likely nut-job wackos who should be given a heavy dose of electro-shock therapy - just like those who enjoy Hero Online "because its free."

this game is the worst game ever.I agree! Ill vote it as 20/100!!HAHAHHHA!LOL.....It has such badd graphics especially the camera angle. It also has very bad customer service. I downloaded it and when i was at the starting screen i already knew that it sux!!!For those who try to argue that this game is good just shut up and u do it just to earn points for this website,is that right??

Played this game from then second it opened in Closed Beta (got to level 60 in C.B.) Played Open Beta from 2 hours after release again broke 60. I've played many of the MMORPGs on the Market from the worst to the best. Hero Online is "Middle of the Road" across the board except a few things. The Biggest issue are the GMs I've heard MANY complaints about them. Personally I think they are nice but poor at doing their Job. Dev Response is pretty damn slow also with account issues. I do however like the Central Market and some of the PvP options. All said and done it's a nice FREE game but I doubt they would have much of a serious following if they were to charge people to play. Sorry for lack of detail and mix ranting.. watching a movie :D Enjoy the games guy characters will balance out in the end but.. don't expect a lot from the GMs or Customer Service. Sincerely, |

I like this game. its fun. nice pet system too..
 also the shops makes this game kinda unique coz few games let characters set up their own shop ingame!

its an ok game for most people and maybe the greatest game for martial arts fanatics. But flying or jumping does not make the game agreat game even though these features might be cool, it will still not make a game. I maybe wrong cause im just lvl 16 currently and im playing it only because its free. It is enjoyable to some extent but this game can not compare to p2p games such as wow and lineage II. There is no harm in trying but you may be wasting time if you decide that you dont like it. Silkroad is still the best mmorpg ive played and if there is a better one then pls tell me what it is.

this is my own copied post dont get confused this is from a different situation im reposting couse i think it has sum good content* the pet system IS good... creative and alot to expect from a popup small game like Hero... i'd give it at least 8+... prolly more... but i respect ur thoughts... not evryone plays wow though, but i do wanna c how good it is... wat disappoints me is that not only is there monthly fee but also there's a retail price hero- graphix-7.5 gameplay-9.4 pets-10 pvp-9 profession system-9.6 OVERALL in all aspects NOT average of above #'s- 8.8 or more game hero may become the best free mmo... and like before its in a better of the rare original and different and entertaining genre of mythical samorai martial arts style, which i highly approve of... whoever whenever whereever should try this and they'll like it at least a little... depends the kinda gamer they are... i really like that idea for in game appearance changers never knew bout it just found out...

the player set up shops arent any different from the player shops in eq1 at the bazaar, and are an exact replica of the player shop system in silk road online. No uniquity there. |

Dude.. like get past level 10... then 20 and hit 30 and as you level.. (key to most online games is... uh... leveling..) you will see the game unfold. I have played at the IRO 'free' servers where you can hit level 255 - kill everything on the map, in under 1 hour and .. leveling quick is totally underrated.. My daughters hooked up, played and went 'blah-blah-blah' and headed back to the safe zone of Maple Story.. of course while I am at work they .. tinker with my White Tiger and Character, ride my Horse (a girl SIN) and then tell me.... when I get home from work.. oh mom I have this and this and this in your storage... be a dear and pass it to my character (DON"T SELL IT MOM!!!! I worked hard for it). So I am helping them level and get past the ... part they hate... I bought the tiger with my Sin's money for my other new character and worked so hard so I could ride that tiger.. very very proud of it... its kinda 'that' ... that makes the game worth while.. When my horse got killed as I was leveling... whoa.. I got 'ohhh your gonna be sorry now monsters' and I ripped up that map killing everything that moved.. had that horse for alot of levels! Then I revived my horse and all was good in the world.. as I looked back over my shoulders.. giving a mencing look to the monsters now reviving themselves and ... quicky spotting me and hiding amoung the shadows.. hehe. hey.. I jsut got to level 44 and I'm still enjoying the gameplay. Sure there is grind, and I'm no doubt repeating what so many others have already stated, grinding is a part of RPGs. You complain about there not being enough skills to use. Obviously you haven't reached higher levels, because there is variety, and only choosing a few to use is a good thing. You don't want your whole hotkey panel to be crowded with skills.
It's exciting to hear that customising characters may be possible. I look forward to it. |

Yes! Since customization seems to be a big problem with the game, it's nice to see that they're responding with more customizing options. Just goes to show that the game is still flexible. Nothing is set in stone quite yet. |

I'm not quite sure how they'll implement it... I doubt it'll be something like adding options on character selection. That would change the game too much... It might be in the form of items? Or in the cash shop? I haven't been reading much on it... so I wouldn't know. |

You may not like it, but it is not the worst game ever. Run out and get a little game called Dark and Light. Play that for an hour and you will be begging to give the developers of this game oral sex because you want to play Hero so much.

how many of you have actually played the game until past lvl 30 to make your judgement, and how many of you have made that judgement only after learning the game is Korean. like really... i'm not saying that your opinion as a gamer isn't valid. but i'm just pissed at the number of times i've seen people posting "i hate this game, it's korean" without even PLAYING it. first off, the game isn't THAT bad. second off, korean people don't make as many crap games as you think. you're not not open-minded enough to actually go out and look at some of the korean games out there. |

but other than that it LOOKS real good... not evryone may like it though whilst hero is a nice play a little stop game thats original and creative... it is good for long term play though, depending on how much time you're willing to give up on it.
