lenathian writes: yes it looks very nice... still can't get past the gameplay in that game, and how cookie cutter it is atm. One elite zone after another and they are all very similiar, just gets dull after a while. I love how they show the pvp 1vs1, hahaha like its ever 1vs1, its usually 9vs1. Dwarvish writes: Yikes!!! This is looking like NCsoft is planning to keep Aion around for a long time. For the eternal QQers...ok, go play something else and stop wasting your time complaining about a great game. Aion will be around for a longggg time. The new features have taken so many aspects of great games and fitted them into the world with improvements. A good base to keep...well..a great (read large) base of players Been playing since early beta and just loving Aion. Tue Nov 24 2009 5:30PM Report
Moon-Daddy writes: Great trailer, I always wanted weather to effect the environment in a mmorpg, like how the snow built up. However i am still skeptical on that they haven't fixed its gameplay. Tue Nov 24 2009 5:42PM Report
jshirland writes: I played during beta, and decided not to subscribe after launch mainly because I didn't like the grind (as well as a few other reasons). However, I might try it again after these changes are implemented, at least for one month. Tue Nov 24 2009 5:44PM Report

RoxRocks writes: It's a grind if you make it that way. Means your goals are shallow and you're looking at the game with a narrow perspective. You always hear this from the people who rush to level and then call it a grind. If you don't slow down to explore and experience everything, you miss the best part... kinda like taking a vacation with a blindfold. You might see the destination but the journey with the side trips and stops along the way is the best part. Tue Nov 24 2009 7:26PM Report
cliffsun writes: what I want to know...and I was at launch and OB and played taiwan Aion for forever (just canceled my sub) is...if they could actually implement this system...then what the HELL have I been paying for and why? If half of what I saw in this trailer is possible for them to actually implement then didnt they just screw us by releasing it early? launch was a disaster for most people...and if they are just gonna make the game impossible to play on a regular system...then I feel like I got slapped in the face...I LOVED this game...but this trailer makes me wonder about NC's immediate future... Raptor2099 writes: That's like saying Blizzard shouldn't have released WoW until Burning Crusade or Wrath of Liche King was ready. It's an MMO that's how it works. Game comes out people play, developer makes new content to keep people playing. Tue Nov 24 2009 7:52PM Report
Plageron writes: Interesting...that looks like alot more video then game play....can kind of tell by the way the characters move. Also the housing...looks like if it is ever possibley implemented will be predetermined....in a specific location and if it does follow the video then there will be a limited number of buildings. The entire mounts thing is okay...looks like you get to pound on the mount and you get it temporarily though....also it still doesnt fix the flying problem....i bet if you get a mount and jump with it or go over some terrain you will take alot of damage from the small falls as usual. I dont know what the deal was with the combat...oh boy they added some new weapons...one of the combats looked like another stock footage...just like the one already in the game....i.e. the npc gets the cool glove thing(his textures clothing and detail is something players cannot have)....strange how the stock footage was played first then the actual game play mostly....i found it odd they turn off the gui for this entire trailer...becasue they mixed cinematics with actual game play alot....it might have been nice to see which was which but go figure. I actualy had hoped they would add more flying things... considering the races have wings and are supposed to be able to fly....go figure on the logic. Maybe the next trailers will be a little more revealing... Tue Nov 24 2009 8:14PM Report
remyburke writes: I'm left with only one question after watching that borderline amazing trailer of the "future." ...Why the HELL am I playing now? Tue Nov 24 2009 8:52PM Report
xenorace writes: That trailer almost doesn't even look like Aion at all. That game looks epic and fun! Guess Aion as it is now is just a core, set up for future expansions, much like WoW did. Tue Nov 24 2009 9:16PM Report
PROGONE writes: Awesome. I loved the game up till the Halloween patch. Everything got so lag. I endured the lag until the last patch camp out and now its smooth sailing. NCSoft if they are successful at making this vision happen, they need to get a bigger IT staff to fix problems faster. Tue Nov 24 2009 9:58PM Report
nate1980 writes: I echo the sentiment about fearing the game will still have the same bad gameplay it has now. Lot's of great stuff in the trailer, but how much of it is real? I guess the smart people will wait until after these features release and an objective review is written before going back to AION, especially with all the competition coming out with new games soon. Tue Nov 24 2009 11:01PM Report
darkgudda writes: Looks fantastic but we will see all that will probably be 3-4 expansions plus it looked like classes got some make overs. Tue Nov 24 2009 11:40PM Report
Grood writes: The new stuff looks really good. One problem, I didn't even stick around long enough to get my way through the current stuff. With the awful economy, bots everywhere you turn, and spam coming out the rear end what good is new content gonna do to take care of those problems? Just my viewpoint. But no really the new stuff "looks" great! Wed Nov 25 2009 12:42AM Report
MonkeyBallz writes: NCSoft just banned 16 000 bots and goldspammers, the quest XP, drop rate and overall grind has been incrimentally addressed and they have 40 GM's running around. NCSoft is doing it's part, but you have to understand that it takes time. As a game developer myself, I know just how complex a decent game engine can get and I can already see a few significant changes. The problem is that NCSoft doesn't advertise these changes because of company policy, so a large part of the community doesn't notice the effort. As for the Launch, remember that MMO's are INFAMOUS for horrendous launches, it's just the nature of the beast. Still, Aion has proven to be a gem, and its current problems are just growing pains. Hang in there, and in due time you'll find an incredible experience in a rich, beautiful world. Wed Nov 25 2009 1:16AM Report

Which obviously has nothing to do with your connection. Its the video/game capture that is lagging, probably becouse unoptimized graphics. Nevemind, your just a fanboy that apparently cant hear a single negative thing about your game. Even though it had nothing to do with the game itself or being criticism, he was just stating that the video was having frame problems. As far as the trailer goes, it looks amazing. Jixx writes: ROFL, the future of aion my ass. Thats the alternate reality of Aion that none of us will ever see. Mounts wouldn't be needed if more area was opened up to flight. Hell when you watch the vids prior to Aion's release they give you the impression that you'll be able to fly anywhere. I can see it now. Gold spammers advertising houses for sale next. They'll go through and buy up 90% of the realistate before anybody else has the chance. Its nothing but the same crap that NCSoft promised prior to release. You never see the part where the toon is waiting for cooldown timers to reset. I'm taking this video with a grain of salt. Sat Nov 28 2009 5:12PM Report

jaker318 writes: Well... the whole thing about the grind, dont most mmo's have a grind as well as cool down times and everything else that people complain about? everybody keeps talking about easy mmo's and what not but in all honesty thats what really destroyed the market. while aion isint quite the say all end all of difficulty, it requires a little more time put into the game then a couple other ones; which I really appreciate. It has a more capitalistic market and gameset then a couple of other games, rewarding the player who wishes to spend more time instead of listening to everyone in the community, which ruined games like DAOC for the hardcore gamers that really enjoyed them. As for me i dig aion even though grinding can be tedious, however i know that it will remain a good game for hardcore individuals, especially with rank boards to let you stand out. This video just captures my attention even more and i hope the game remains hard for the casual gamer to really get through so that it can remain for those who wish to put the time in Sun Nov 29 2009 3:36PM Report

rwmiller writes: As a statement of the developer's visions and where they would like to see the game go this is an excellent trailer. It introduces a number of new features and provides some examples of how they might be implemented. It isn't a promise and things here may never come into the game and things that aren't here might show up. But all in all it does show that they have some ideas of where they would like to get to from where they are currently. They just have to get it done. Aion is no better nor any worse than other game currently out but to stay static is to die and I look forward to seeing some of these changes when they do arrive. Tue Dec 01 2009 3:53PM Report
