    Who's ready for another Double XP weekend? Iron Man 2 can wait, gotta make the levels! Beginning tonight at 8PM EST, Aion players can enjoy double experience through the weekend, ending on Monday, May 10th at 8AM EST.

  • Initial Version 2.0 Patch Notes Released

    As promised, NCsoft has released an initial set of translated Aion version 2.0 patch notes from the 2.0 build currently in testing on the Korean public test servers.

  • NA Test Server Live; 2.0 Hits Korean Test Server

    NCsoft has a one-two punch of Aion news for you all. The first, is the announcement that the public test server for the North American Aion community is now live. The second bit of news, is that version 2.0 of Aion has hit test servers over in Korea, and we're told that patch notes are forthcoming. The patch notes are said to be 38 pages in length, so there will be a bit of delay as NCsoft goes through the translation process.

  • Ask Kinslon #2: 1.9 Arrives in May!

    The second "Ask Kinslon" interview is now available on the official Aion website. The interview series features Aion producer Chris "Kinslon" Hager answering questions regarding the hotly anticipated version 1.9 update.

  • Ask Kinslon: Aion v1.9 Interview #1

    NCsoft has kicked off a new mini-interview series called "Ask Kinslon" where NCsoft's "Daeva of Journalism" Aquilanius interviews Aion Producer Chris "Kinslon" Hager. The inaugural entry in the series focuses on the stun defense system and daily quests which will be part of the upcoming 1.9 update.

  • New Forums Coming

    Aion Community Manager Andrew "Tamat" Beegle has announced that players can look forward to a new set of forums by the middle of April. The current forums will be migrating over to vBulletin, and unfortunately as a result the current boards will have to be shut down.

    Fergus McGreedy, the greedy little leprechaun of Atreia, is feeling the pinch from Shugo tax collectors who have finally figured out how to tax his amassed riches, but he's got a plan to screw the Shugo bankers out of their money: give it away to his fellow leprechauns! Unfortunately, Fergus has lost his glasses and cannot see properly as a result, opening the way for players to dress up in green in order to trick Fergus out of his money!

    Aion player Cerafina asks about the status of fort timers in this month's Eye on Community letter, and receives some pretty positive results! Aion Community Manager Andrew "Tamat" Beegle reveals that NCsoft has compared their internal data to their player survey data and will be making a change to Aion's fort capture timers. The new timer will be extended to one hour, up from its original half hour window.
