NCSoft devs have announced that the Behind Enemy Lines rifting event will be arriving on Aion servers beginning April 13th. Devs have plans to activate the event every other week in a stated goal to bring players more frequent opportunities to enjoy 'all of the content Aion has to offer'.
Reported on Apr 05, 2011The Aion team has announced that a new Aion reactivation campaign will kick off on Thursday, March 24th and continue for a week. The week will allow players to check out recent updates as well as a rifting event called "For War and Glory". In addition to the reactivation event, devs have announced forthcoming changes in v2.5 "Empyrean Calling".

NCSoft and Aion devs have spent a lot of time working with players via surveys and forum topics to determine how to make changes to make rifting more equitable. Devs have implemented several significant changes that will be implemented for the next month with players providing feedback.
Reported on Dec 13, 2010Beginning on December 3rd and running through December 13th, NCSoft and Aion developers are beginning a reactivation campaign for players who have not played in awhile and whose accounts are in good standing. The campaign will allow former Aion-ites to check out the game free for ten days, earn double XP and 99% off of Soul Healing on the 11th and 12th.

Included in the update are the full patch notes and an interesting comparison of drop rates between patch 2.0 and 2.1.

Called Aion Exchange, the app give players the chance to stay connected to the game by letting them view characters, track auctions, search for items and to create a wish list.
