the main reason i left this game was the forced to PvP after Level 25. Did they finally fix that ? Can i completly disable PvP for my character in this game ? i am not interested in PvP, i just want to do the PvE content. Free or not, if i cant diable PvP this game is worthless for me..
anyone ? |

They certainly wont "fix" what was never broken and remains intregral part of gameplay. This game is not made for you it appears. 'Seamless world' - A world lacking visible or phys. seams, forming forced breaking points during transition and movement;

It's really forced? What happens at 25? I think I've only reached level 18 or 20 or so. |

More like this is the only reason, why the game isnt dead yet, and you can easily avoid pvp after 25 if you want to, not always, but mostly |

Sorry pvp is still there. Kinda sad people can't live with pvp anymore, it adds into the gameplay and makes things more hectic. They did give some buffs so ganking is more difficult, giving players a chance against enemies trying to take advantage of them but it isn't compeltely away.
Either way Aion is probably a bit to hardcore for you. I heard Hello Kitty Online has a very friendly system where the only kind of PvP you need to worry about is lots of hugs and friendly kisses! Sounds just like up your pansy, I mean friendly alley.
Oh yeah, and I'm a meh pvper, I prefer pve in MMos :) |

the way to gather more players in aion who dont so much like the forced pvp is to remove random rifts and just concenrate having pvp in abyss. of course you could travel to enemy maps if you so please but random rifts i think is the main issue. |

Originally posted by Portland For the North American servers, avoid Kahrun server and you can have very little PvP if you choose after level 25. The official game forum has some posts explaining which areas to avoid if you wish to avoid PvP. I've met plenty of players on Aion who focus on PvE only. Please be aware that if you choose to play PvE only, you WILL need to avoid certain zones and instances.

There was a short time when they had major debuffs to the gankers rifting into enemy territory to gank the level 28s. There were enough vocal complaints that they decided to nerf and remove such debuffs making it back into a gank-fest again. In essence unless you want to die to gankers A LOT you end up having to group to do solo quests -- or you have to have a high level from your guild babysit. |

Yet whichever you want to believe it will change nothing on the most apparent fact your preferences conflict with the core designphilosophy of this game and its primary targetaudience, and they certainly wont waste and risk millions of profits to cather to your personal demands and turn the game upside down. I fear you will have to live with that or simply communicate a reasonable and constructive demand for PvE only server, instead of just bitching around about some personal preferences and just for the sake of it. Good luck no one appears to be forcing you to play this game which as it is, is simply not cut for you, isnt it? After all i read here i decided to delete AION from my Harddisk. It was nice to play a Cleric to level 15 for free, to bad NCSoft has no pure PvE server. It cant be that hard and expensive to introduce a 100% PvE server.... if they ever decide to , i gladly join again. Simply a "Disable/Enable PvP" every 5 min, option would do it for the most players that like to play PvE. The gankers couldnt attack and the PvE players wouldnt leave AION and eventually buy something from the store. for now, bye bye AION

to ask for a pve server for a pvpve game is just ridiculous. if u are a pve only player, this game is not for u. you should always inform yourself before startin playin a game. so good luck findin a game that fits your interests. |

I played this game for several weeks and enjoyed it immensely. Then my level 14 character was out "picking flowers" one day and a ?? level character uncloaked and tried to gank me. I popped a stun then popped a sprint buff, managed to run away, cast a portal, jumped through the portal to safety, logged out of the game, uninstalled the game, and never played it again. |
