Free to play.. will there be a chash shop.. what will keep the game running? I know free to players cant trade etc with the paying subscribers... Im going to be cheaking it out on the 16th.. SO anny info would be nice to have..

Only thing is the Downtime thing... on dungeons.. But subbers can always keep subbing I guess.. Cash shop.. will they be selling any balance breaking itmes I whonder? :(

About gameforge i have no idea how they work with cash shops.

And yeah, agreed, the veteran package is fine and will suit the casual player well and considering that all you have to do to become a 'vet' is spend some money it's very accessible. I don't mind them taking steps to ensure that the non paying accounts aren't easy to use out of the box for gold sellers etc.

That free, former sub active sub model is very cleaver. It hinds f2p only very very slightly and gives them access to the whole game. As for the cash shop I can't comment exactly but I know one psudeo exists already w/ the ea codes to buy pets, costumes, name changes, etc. Ashmaker - Ranger < Prophets > Age of Conan Sweety - Sorceress < No Heroes > SWTOR

An old Aion player here, haven't played in over a year actually, I remember reacing all over the internet "Aion will never go F2P", when someone in ventrilo last night said it's going F2P I burst out in laughter, I foresaw this coming. Anyways I'll probably start playing it a little, I enjoyed my cleric at the time. SWTOR: sub ended, no thanks to Georg Zoeller! R.I.P. SWG June 26, 2003-Dec 15, 2011 (it already died on Nov 15, 2005)
