I've seen people complaining about the Korean version having more dances and outfits. Is that still the case? Looking at youtube videos Aion seems to have a gizillion different dances and outfits, but are those only in Korea? What other features if any are missing?

The content that is missing are usually either shop or event items, mostly just some costumes or emotes. If they are missing they will usually be added later into the game in form of alternative events or also added to the shop for some temporary time. The time it takes usually depends on what kind of item it is. A new christmas cosutme doesnt really make much sense to release when added 3 months later in spring into the EU/NA client. So its saved for the next year. But usually they just come with a later event of something if its not specific to any season or holidays.

Whats missing is also most of the social or metagaming features. Like external smartphone apps, ingame social media support, private forums, you could also call their whole official Aion website an selfsufficient social platform with tons of features which we are missing almost completely etc. They'd however hardly be used nor taken serious here anyway, due to major differences in social interaction and behavior in the playbase.

The 64-bit client was retracted as it doesnt work without issues with foreign client versions.

In terms of clientdatabase however western client do not miss anything. There are no missing items or gamerelated features as of yet. They remain localized carbon copies of the K-Aion client. Thats why when the game goes F2P in EU, despite some fearmongering, gameplay and content at core and in general will remain a P2P game with full featues of the K-Aion version, just living off from monthly pseudo subs to play the game at "full speed" and cash shop incentives/goodies, unlike the western games who went F2P  and merely attempt to milk the rest out of the game adding some shortbreathed Pay2Win item/content into their shops, while making cuts on the updates before slowly dying off.

Gameforge even admitted they cant make such changes on the client they receive from NCSoft hence they cant restrict much more than NCWest was capable of. Probably some of the event costmes/dances will be featured in the store instead of events.
