Players come for the game, but they stay for the people- Most Devs have forgotten this. |
Looks like the F2P launch will bring us 3 new servers on top of the existing ones...thats pretty confident IMO. Nice to have one in the UK. I am starting to warm to this relaunch :) |

The new servers are the only thing that might make me playing on the gameforge server instead of migrating to NA servers for extracost of new client and subscription, and only because its even free either and I'd have to restart either way if I migrated. Probably the best phase of this game is leveling up with dozen of others at the same level irrelevant of anything else. However I dont like gameforge because they are god nyerking slow and ambitionless on publishing/developing updates and aside from Wizard101 pretty much equally ambitionless on PR and advertisement (worse than the bricks in NC West). They may be consistent but they never even seemed they tried to make something big out of any of their product. So to be shure id have to wait till they localized 3.0 to see if they manage to keep the 2-3 month pace or take much longer and if its even worth it. Nielsen game ratings - Jan 2012 Top-Games: World of Warcraft played 2x more than LOL; WoW played 6 times more than Aion |

I totally agree, and thats why I will be playing (I prefer the sub based model personally). Fresh servers are so important to me for restarting these games... especially in a PvP one dominated by levels and gear.
I like the fact that they are having locally based servers as well (the UK one will be in the UK for instance apparently). Seperate language servers that are local is essential for the EU market imo. |
