hi guys, im lvl 50 right now and im wearing Miragent Set with no +. People told me to get 40e to PvP. I calculated the 40e +10 Def ( wear the 40e+10 set, my def is about 1600, it give total of 16.2 PvP defense. i take 1600/100 and multiply by 16.2 then add with 1600 and i got  1859.2 Def.) but with Miragent +0, i got 1880 Def. So what is the point of getting 40e ?

sorry m8 but your stats are wrong, pvp armour gives you less %dmg, not armour bonus, so if with your miragent you get 40%normal bonus less dmg on pvp, with your L40 pvp armour you get 40%+16.2=56,2% less dmg and thats really matter on pvp, cause defense stat in armour on aion its a complete fail, and most important its easy and cheap to enchant L40 epic gear than L50 epic gear, and +10 on all pieces gives you one of the best defense stats (strike resist), its the opposite from critical chance, as more you have on strike resist  as less chance they have to hit you with crits on pvp and pve.
