I can describe the OP in one word

these forums will kill any new mmo out and sooner or later developers will think is it worth wastiing money on them .

then all you ll be left with is an aging world of warcraft and a bunch of substandard free to play mmos

Its really your choice at the end of the day keep knocking the genre and thier wont be a genre to speak of . i dont paticulary think Ncsoft did a good job in month one . I think they should offer all the players that invested in it  another free month when things get sorted . But Aion does have some potential .

Lets see what games yoru gonna kill next ........................

the new final fantasy , the new starwars mmo .  thier will come a point when it wont be worth the investment .

By all means be a critic but threads like this and OPs like this are pathetic and childish . Mind you maybe thats all your capable of being .

I find your arguement flawed in the respect of Aion being evidence of stagnation of a market and by extension a further potentional nail in its coffin....The compliant is they have done nothing to further the genre at all, so that why people knock it, it is knock off, a replication of ideas with a new skin(wings).

You said " Then all you will be left with is an aging Wow" if people keep complaining, that is so far from the truth, its people complaining that is driving the slow emergance of indie games again, which at the moment is going to be the only way out of the EQ/Wow model stagnation, not QQ,ing about an asian grind fest that does nothing to alter the status quo.

Question everything or marketing companies will just force baby food games down your neck and tell you its the best tasting goop ever, 99.9% of people surveyed said so, you believe that crap and all you will get is Aion in many different flavours, forever.
