Well, they did a pretty fair job of introducing the world to Aion on their site. Unfortunately, there is a summary of how most people are responding:

• Another typical koreon MMO.  Ill pass
• ZOMG another WoW clone
• Looks decent but I aint payin for this shit
• I know nothing about any of this game's features but I'm just posting here to say it sucks because the MMORPG I play is better.

As expected.  But I still have a LOT of hope for this game.  Last night I actually found 2 other english speaking people to play with and had a blast questing.  Been a while since I had that much fun in a game.  Sigh.

well since people saying its a typical korean mmo when it isint i know they havent seen shit of it or even read about it so i know theyr pure bs they ar e just pissed there (darkfall) failed realy hard and yet this game is a big succsess and me and my freinds will be lining up to buy this game gg kthxbye

well...that's the public for you.

Post a link to a gameplay vid or something with an explanation of the quest system and PvP. They'll shut up fast.

I gave up a long time ago, the arrogance of people just can't be changed.   Even if they do find out that the game is decent you will never hear them admit it.  Pride is far more important to some than being truthful.

People been brainwashed to think everything is a WOW clone. Though the ones who actually read know better.

I think the people that read are far worse off than those that don't at all.  It's the difference between the people that can make a rational decision on their own and those that feel their opinion is absolute.

You might be right too. Anyway, Aion is just one of the few mmos I am looking forward to. It seems it will be well polished and many already love the game.

whatever, those type of gamers think gears of war and halo are the greatest games ever. 12 hours of good graphics and its over. GOW2 sucked hard. how boring, run and gun. been doing this since duke nukem. its all the same. aion may be like wow, but whats wrong with that? wow has a huge success obviously WOW did something right. its about time someone made a wow clone with nextgen graphics and enviroments. innovation leads to failure in the mmo industry, i will take an updated version of WOW anyday.
