Was wanting to start playing, have read the how to on download and getting the account. But i wasnt sure if the toons we make on these servers would be able to transfer later when it releases in the u.s. Would hate to spend time on somthing further more then testing it out, having lost everything later. |

Nope because it won't make sense really. However, to keep things fresh you can do what i am doing. I will be playing Ely on Chinese server and when US version comes out i will join Asmo to keep things fresh. Chinese client is free and time cards are dirt cheap so its worth it. I would be most likely keeping both versions of AION.Even though i will be paying 50 bucks for US version and the monthly fee, compared to that Chinese version is way cheaper. So go ahead and enjoy yourself, you can always play the other side to get new gaming experience. |

I actually emailed NCSoft NA on this recently.... Below was their response
Response (Matt) 04/20/2009 01:17 PM You will be unable to play the Chinese version of Aion on the NA/EU game servers once the game official launches for those territories. We are also unable to convert your Chinese version to a NA/EU version. You will be required to purchase a NA/EU version of the game if you wish to play on those servers. Thank you, Thank you for contacting NCsoft Account Support. I am escalating your ticket for further assistance, and someone will be in contact with you as soon as possible. Thanks, |
