So i downloaded the OB and rolled a sorc a warrior and then finally a priest. I didnt have much time to play over the past few days but i managed to get a lv 13 Cleric and i have to say this game blew me away. My charcter was amazing looking, the scenery blew me away oh and flight was fun. When i first started the game i just thought flight was going to be for fighting but as soon as i got it i found i could gather and do quests in the air. Ive been debating if i should continue to plan the CN version or if i should just wait it out and play upon the release in NA, but i do know that i will be spending a lot of time playing this game. |

The game looks good we know, but what else is there? Am i the only one that thought the OB was negative, it was a solo grind fest in the veins of WoW. Take my opinion with a grain of salt because i was looking for the next FFIX, this is not the case , so for those of you who are thinking this the spiritual successor to that game, might want to look elsewhere. playing: Dragon Age |

i started with AO and went to WoW and ive tried almost every P2P and F2P mmo that i have come across. I enjoyed WoW pre BC but after that the game took a major turn for the worse. Right now ive been trying to find a game i like so i can get out of WAR (play because its the only mmo my friends with play besides WoW). I really enjoyed Spellborn as well but the lack of endgame content kinda kills it for me. |

Yeah...this game does seem like it'll be of high quality when it launches here in the states. It's just a darn shame it's got all the cutesie anime art style/sound. I really hate that crap. But the gameplay and mechanics seem very solid so i'll definetly give it a shot. |

Im playinf Aion too. I'm lvl 10 and I'm enjoying it. But I don't bet all my cions in that game because it "somehow" resembles Lineage 2. I played lineage 2 a few years ago and just like Aion, at the low levels Lineage 2 rocks, but when you get past lvl 40 it turns to a grind feast. I hope ncsoft doesn't do that to Aion. It has everything to became an awesome MMO. Wondeful graphics, great gameplay, exciting battles and a great storyline. |

Well as of now the level cap is 50, so if it gets a bit grindy at 40 it won't be too bad. Perhaps if they add on levels they will shorten the grind in the same fashion that EQ and WoW have.

Right after taking the cap from 45 to 50 they implemented the rested system and added a lot of quests, it's impossible to compare aion's leveling curve with L2's, I mean, I got a max level character in Aion, how many people can say the same in L2? :D |

Originally posted by Slashed316 I would say to keep playing the CN version until NA/EU release. Then when it does, play the other faction so it will be all fresh and new. I think we are going to be surpised how many NA/EU players will be playing. Alot of people from my Guild Wars guild and forums will be coming to play as well. Heck, most are not even concerned about paying the monthly fee, they just want to play a good mmo. |

Im surprised. I actually really like this game so far. Im only a level 6 warrier, but so far it's great. Nothing ground breaking as far as combat mechanics go. I'll have to see if i get bored after 20 levels or so... |

I actually think Aion will be a realitivly good game. But I fear that it is not going to be a game for me. From my understanding it is a casual friendly MMO. Not counting the Abyss PvP, That system sounds great for the people that like PvP, I consider myself a PvE'er and I have not seen anything PvE wise in Aion that looks challenging. It has alot of good thing going for it, I am sure it will do good here in NA once we get an english version. I might even play it to just pass the time until SE gives me the MMO that I desire. I also got a Quest (blue belt reward) were I have to go to the other factions side via a rift and kill a mob for its drops, I'm gonna need a raid party for that one too. :( Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries... |
