I was reading on another thread how its possible to play legally on the Chinese servers as an english speaker with an Adult account, was wondering if anyone is already doing this and what server you'd be playing on?

If there is anyone interested in doing this and maybe wanted to form a group and all go to the same server... or something?

Anyway just seeing if there was anyone interested in giving it a shot...

I am currently playing on China South which is the 4th region down on the region list.  I play on the Beritra server which is home to the Flawless legion who has roughly 30 folks (asmodian).  This server has awesome performance, low pings.

A larger part of the community went to the 2nd region on the region list on the Azreal server.  Mostly elyos play there,  but there is a smaller asmodian legion there as well.  Overall theres more english speaking people on this server, but the latency is aweful.

the english patch works fine.  You dont need to purchase a client, however purchasing game time can be a bit tricky.  On the forum I posted theres guides on how to play retail.  You'll need to follow the guide on how to create you open beta account first though

honestly, if you've waited this far into it I would just wait for the NA release.  But yes, we do have a small community of people that have gone through retail and will be playing possibly on the Chinese server forever.

You don't understand for those of us anxious to play, we'll play on the Chinese servers until the NA release. And as for the Chinese ID and the legal to play English on servers. All that is wrong, it is illegal to be English on any Chinese servers, and to be an adult, you have to get a fake adult ID from a reliable source.

I don't recommend it.

Well I mean its not like you have to buy the box to do this, the only expense is the actual play time you buy.

So its not nearly as rediculous as it might be if you were like buying a boxed game for 50 bucks just to pay monthly fees until it hit NA, that would be stupid, but this seems more reasonable.

I highly suggest you join the Region 2 server Azariel, running into english speaking players is more common than you'd think. Been playing since the OB started, yes there's some lag but honestly, its nothing game crushing just a half second longer to use a skill maybe and you'll teleport while running every once in a while but not enough to be frustrating. Well at least thats how it's been for me. :) Good Luck!

I'm on that exactly server, it says a lot of chinese words with a 2 at the end and yes Azrizel, but I just got back on and I have to wait for 5 hours in order to play, the server lines are insane.

I think you're on the wrong region, in the region window in the launcher, its the second name listed, not the one with a 2 at the end. I havent been in a single queue since I started playing and i've played at all different times.
