Hi guys, i started playing this game again since i kind of liked it back then. Anyway i made a new account, leveled an assassin to 18, but everytime i want to trade in the auction house or whatever i'm asked to purchase a cash shop item, is this limitation only for new character and what do they call new character or do i absolutly have to purchase a cash shop item to be able to trade?

And i have an old NC account with some Aion characters but i didn't want to bother reactivating it, if i do so will i still have to pay for this "gold pack" or not?

PS the imitation if is understandable to limit bots and gold farmer, is really a pain honestly, paying an mmo without being able to trade with other player is just stupid.

just don't play the EU version. it's very limited. go for the NC version. it's not region locked and it's fully free.

if you reactivate your old account u wont need to buy a gold pack to trade. old ncsoft accounts have the veteran-status.

if u make a new account u have to buy the gold pack to be able to trade and write in global chat etc. the gold pack is the only item starters can buy at the broker. so u dont realy need to pay real money. just search in the category "Others".

again, there's no need to buy any packs on NCSoft servers! all services and char slots are FREE.

why even you would want to play on EU servers at first place?

1. less lag and better ping if u are livin in europe

2. much more people to play with since most americans are sleepin when europeans are playin

3. better and adapted maintenance times for europeans

4. the option to play on servers with 2 more languages (ofc if u can speak them)
