i find it qutie disaptoing that it will go f2p , but im happy if the player base will grow again , maby a new server launch amd pvp in abyss always great fun.
For now i will stop my subscribtion and wait for 2012 |

Now if these options were to be implemented to the NA AION, I "sort of" don't mind as the "gold package" (the pay every month) version is pretty much like how it is now - BUT CHEAPER. Although if you take a look at some of the "perks" that each of these account types get, Starter, Veteran (an account that has paid the subscription) and Gold Pack, it looks quite unfair and unbalanced... Some features are limited to F2P players.

I still play Aion on and off. It's mostly good, but I always get bored and unsub. I try to do Abyss PvP and either get ganked or in groups it turns into such a huge lagfest that it's unplayable. I'm told to turn off character models (toons become nameplates only) and that defeats the purpose of playing Aion - which is supposed to be for the graphics. Even minecraft looks better than watching a bunch of nameplates flying around. That being said, I'll most likely resub when 3.0 comes out to see how housing works. |
