metamer writes: A lot of fun for the casual gamer. Easy to play and very enjoyable having multiple players on one ship. If only more MMOs would go the route of multiple crew per one ship...PotBS, for example. Wed Jun 04 2008 7:47PM

Shousenga writes: Graphics: They look choppy and very outdated. The sound is ugh. The roleplaying is.. childish. Value.... for a week at best. I guess it would be fun for a seven year old. Community is childish. Lag is unbearable. Service sucks. LOL FAIL. Sat Apr 26 2008 6:42PM

zarroc66 writes: Don't even bother with this game, unless you have the fastest internet on earth and no one is playing the game that day. The lagg is just ridicules and i have 7 mb internet(Road Runner) and a new lab top (toshiba) and this games lagg is crazy. Also leveling gets slow after level 5, and they want u to pay for the crappy game or ur suck without all the cool things: Bigger Ships, Voodoo staff(once ur level 5 its a quest u cant do for a really cool weapon unless u a member), and many things(which i dont know about because i stopped playing the game after my boat stop moving for 5 minutes(lagg again at its best). On the up side if ur still wanting to be a pirate, soumd is okay(u can hear the wind blowing ur mass on ur ship, cannon balls firing and hitting other ships, gun fire, sword slashing), and role-playing is really fun because they use the real characters voices(or it seems) from the movie. donaldduck writes: Quite possibly the worst performing MMO around (more laggy than AO, and thats saying something) AOC will probably run better than this! Don't even bother downloading. Fri Apr 11 2008 12:00PM
brihtwulf writes: This game, while not the worst thing available, has some of the worst performance for a low-end game on the market. There is so much unnecessary lag and latency, the game is most often completely unplayable. Thu Apr 03 2008 12:12AM
jpomatto writes: Ok this is a lot of fun for a quick break from my normal MMO. THe graphics are very good and the sound and music work well with the environment. A nice presentation that has a lot of cut scenes to draw you into the game. The main part of the game is the ocean going sea battles. The interface is very simple to learn and you can get right into the action in a very short time. The land adventures are also good and you can level up your skills by using them. The lag is a real killer and it makes playing the game difficult at times. There is a lot of roleplaying going on so far as I have seen and this is a nice element. Very little of the game is available to free players but just enough to get you to try a month as a paying member. Overall I would say take a look. Sat Mar 29 2008 10:41PM
