I first tried this game quite a long time ago. I remember it being really laggy which I attributed to a poor internet connection and an out of date computer.

I thought of trying it again now that both my connection and computer have improved but it's $10 a month? I don't remember it costing anything before...was that changed or was I only on some sort of trial account?

The game is free to play, however, you can have an "upgraded" account if you sub for $9.95 a month.

The game is free but if you wanna do some quests you have to get the upgraded version, and in my opinion it doesnt worth the 10 bucks 

Bu without the membership your gameplay is totally unbalanced and you can't get to high levels and have better weapons and etc. It IS fun when you have the membership though.
