The best way to kill an enemy is to make him your friend.

I will atempt to rate The Legend of Ares.

Graphics - This game has fairly good graphics, enough to have something good to look at.

Sound - The songs were great... Just too repetitive.

Gameplay - The gameplay is easy enough. And somewhat straight forward. It's very easy to hunt and obtain items that you would need.

Questing - The quests are so easy, most of the time you wouldn't even need to find a party.

Grind Factor - This game is one BIG GRIND!!!!! Even though I played from 1-30 I found that it got very boring and old. You're basically hunting enemies one or two levels above you like in most other MMORPGS. You spend roughly 20 minutes in your late 20's getting HALF of your XP bar. If you have a lot of free time, and a will of steel then this would be the game for you.

Servers/Community - In my time of playing, there were 3 servers. Phoenix, Poseidon, and Demeter. I spent fair time in each of the servers to see how much lag there was. Surprisingly, there wasn't much lag anywhere.

The community is pretty dull. Sure there are people that engage in friendly chats; but the majority of the players on are either foreign, or they like to keep to themselves. Joining a guild makes things a little better though.

Classes - There are 3 classes in the game. They are: Warrior, Spearman, Priest, and Archer. I found that it was very interesting that there were two different factions(Allience and Empire.) Making it so that there is a wide variety of armor that you can choose from. Toppled with armor is a fairly large list of weapons you can choose from(according to your class.) Plus, the weapons start to look great even at the lower levels.

Conclusion - 6/10  The grind really ruind the game. Graphics are good, community is iffy, lag is tolerable, and class sysyem is good.

Personally, I looked at this game as a time filler for when I am bored during breaks, and weekends. And that is exactly what it did. It filled up all of my time.

So if you are one of those people that enjoy a little bit of a grind, but also enjoy a really neat class and weapon system this game is for you.

- Peace & Happy Gaming.
