Jesus is King

Hello everyone.

I played this back in beta - had fun, but not enough to stick around.

I recently redownloaded it and got a mage/warrior build to level 8 and have had an enjoyable time so far. However, the battles seem to be the same everywhere I go.. ie: 4 minions, 1 - 2 'bigger' mobs per each corner. Does this behavior continue?

Also, is there active development on it? I heard a new graphics engine was in the mix. I searched their offical site, but came up with only rumors.

Another question, is there enough content to keep me there til level 100? If I do stick around, I'll get that gnome box (which I find to be an awesome deal), but I don't want to make any decisions so soon.

However, as I said before, it is fun, but it isn't the best experience I've ever had by any means. From a 1 - 10, and ten being the best, it is a 6 - 8. I give it a vauge rating because sometimes it can be rather frustrating (soloing), or enjoyable (in a good group). I enjoy the graphics, I enjoy the gameplay for the most part. I do not like the humor involved in the game (I like serious/realism), but it works.

I hope for a quick, accurate and mature reply!

Blessings,

If Christianity is the following of Christ, His words and His leadership, then Christianity is the right way forward. Jesus is the One who claimed to be THE Truth and who possesses all wisdom and knowledge (Col 2:4-5) Though in Christianity many may say or do goofy things, Christ is the Faithful Witness so that is my cornerstone. When I made that decision, the world and all of its religions and philosophies suddenly became clear as it is all of Him, through Him, to Him and for Him.

DR is my side game. When I'm pressed for time, just want to have a fun grind or whatever I play DR.

If the battles seem same to you and you want more of a challenge crank of the difficulty of the dungeon off Normal. You get more loot, more exp, at the same time mobs hit harder and seem to be more of them. My highest is 28 and yes it seems to continue however the main bosses of that area are different in the way they fight and can be killed.

The retail box makes all the difference to me. The bling gnome is probably the reason I continue to play. Not having to go back to town so much is the best and massive timer saver. Plus getting basically two months for free is sweet deal.

I don't know anything about the graphics update, that would be awesome if they did. I love the humor in the game. I don't think I would ever change that.

As for active development, heck yeah. They put them out in what they call chunks, and there has been quite a few of them.

My suggestion, get the retail box and play the game on the side from your main mmorpg or when you don't have a lot of time. That's six months of a sub for cheap! I found it cheapest at gogamer.com and use dirt cheap shipping to save even more.

i used to play GW and WoW....but they just "eat" a lot of time....and i started working...and i needed somthing lighter...so DUNGEON RUNNERS it's the best choice for a casual like me....

HACK'n'SLASH and ROTFL! best things to do after work!

I can play for 15 min or 3h....it's fun either way!

Indeed the Bling Gnome just gives another steam to the game...

IS IT WORTH IT?!?!?

It's a pretty decent little time-killer, but not what I would consider main MMO potential.  I don't know exactly why you would bother paying to subscribe.

BTW, Jesus is imaginary, unless you're talking about the guy who sells oranges out on the offramp of the interstate.  If that's the case, tell your God he owes me $5!

I used to have a life before this came along.

I've never played this game, so my comment isn't a reflection of the game, but on the previous guy's comment about Jesus.

First, I've been a Taoist for about two decades and I don't believe in Jesus being the messiah or being God on Earth, but at the same time, if I see someone say "Jesus is God" or "Jesus is King" I don't feel it's my job to criticize their religous beliefs. As far as I'm concerned they can believe whatever they want and as long as they don't tell me I have to believe it. It's all good in my book. So I guess what I'm saying is, once you come to terms with your own guilt over giving up the religion you were raised in, you'll probably feel less inclined to attack it. In the mean time, live and let live.

^  Uhm, wow....was that totally necessary in a thread that has nothing to do with religion?  Maybe he doesn't believe in atheists either, so therefore, they must not exist.  Way to attempt a thread derail.  Besides...wtf difference does it make what someone's forum avatar is?  He didn't say JACK about religion, so uhm....you're kind of overly sensitve, I think.  O.o

ANYWAY....

Dungeon Runners.  Yes!  Very funny game, easy to log into and just spend 15 minutes or hours, like others have said.  I've also used it for "taking a break" from my hardcore raiding in other games.  Very light-hearted game and quite enjoyable. :)   You should perhaps give it a go.

THE ABOVE POST IS MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION, NOT A STATEMENT OF INDISPUTEABLE FACT.
Playing: WoW, EQ2, EVE, Perfect World, dabbling with Vanguard, really looking forward to RUNES OF MAGIC , and the release of Aion and Spellborn. Sometimes...I even play games on Pogo.com and BigFish, shhhh...don't tell anyone. LOL I even play some FPS games, such as Unreal 3 and Painkiller, and some single player games like Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. Yup, I'm hopelessly addicted.

Good Fight.

Ill agree with everyone else, its not what you would call a "main MMORPG" But it is simply hilaious. If you want a break from your MMO or your stressed out, play Dungeon Runners.
