The MMORPG interviews sell the game better. This game has interesting ai but I'd be expecting to read about different classes/careers means of customisation. If it goes into open beta without some public snippets to get people excited this game is only going to appeal to the die-hard program fans who happen to already play mmo's and do not mind paying for another. This video does not show it off very well but some other videos do. You'll actually have to think and use tactics in this, unlike almost every other MMO game out there. They are not using P90's in this video, but even if they were, they do not shoot full auto because it doesn't make sense to do so. Firing in bursts is superior, and they do it in the show too. SGW is out of pre alpha and is actually ready for beta, so what you are in fact seeing is a beta build. Personally I wasn't crtitquing graphics, I was critiquing exactly what alot of sci fi genre fans have had to suffer though, people taking a sci fi IP and wrapping it around an existing game designe to make money. We were very worries thats what cryptic would do with trewk online, our fears were wasted once we saw what was actual beta build gameplay footage. They need to change the description of SGW to fps is thats the only aspect that they are going to continually push out in content previews, this is in fact the 2nd combat geared video to be shown to the public with no explanation on the devs ends to allay peoples worries that all the game will be is a fps with the gate ip sprinkled round it.
