IAmMMO writes: I got a feeling Stargate worlds is not breaking enough new ground to encourage many to sub beyond the 30 days. Gone is innovation on a deeper level, in is looking over your shoulder at others in the industry and implementing your own expression of their ideas rather than coming up with your own. Most of these new MMO's in the last 3 years feel like the same old stuff reskinned to a different slightly different theme. Stargate worlds to me feels like a remodding of Tabula Rasa. Firesky Comments on Elggren's Departure

On May 12th, news broke that Studio Head Dan Elggren would be leaving Firesky, the company making Stargate Worlds. Today, MMORPG.com has received comment from the company about the issue.

Stargate Still Standing

Acccording to a statement issued on Monday night, Firesky's upcoming MMORPG Stargate Worlds is still up and running and while it isn't out of the woods yet, the statement indicates continued goodness on the horizon.
