And to whoever made the comment about "omfg it takes 5 seconds between swing times", i must ask, have you ever played an MMORPG before, and if yes, then why are you making such a stupid remark? A game based off attack styles, and not instants (ex, DAoC ) makes those gaps much more welcome. But then again, the only reason im sad you wont be playing this is because you are one less n00b we wont be able to throw around ... /salute

- Ofcourse you have to take it all with a grain of salt but according to this trailer there are better games coming up in 2008.

- wow felle1337, way to take 5 seconds of video and base the entire game on it. bravo. this game looks great, and its based off one of the greatest RvR and PvP sytems ive played with. I really hope i get picked for Beta :)

- short but good video showing some in-game footage with a few cut scenes. This video shows a little of why warhammer will have top notch player controll witch will make for outstanding pvp

- Anyone judging the gameplay from a few glimpses of character models is just trolling. And Huxflux, Vigil Games is making the 40K MMO. Different properties with different licenses. If you prefer 40K, just be grateful that EA doesn't have their grubby paws on it like they do with WAR. Perhaps WAR/Mythic can survive EA, but corporate interference is the biggest threat to the success of WAR, not forum trolls.

- I'm sorry but standing there waiting for your attack cooldown to finish then activating your 2 second animated 'uber power' in between auto-attacks is not terribly exciting. It's one of the reasons my WAR hype is about 4/10, the combat is just so 'has-been.'

- Dragoon your an idiot. Do alittle research on a game before you bash it. Warhammer has a reason behind it. It also has MUCH more of a lore base than your giving it credit for. As far as no reason to PvP. Pillaging the other factions main/home towns seems like a pretty good reason to pvp to me. AoC is going to offer guild areas to ransack in pvp how is that any diffrent? If you going to trash a game do your research ore all you do is make an idiot out of yourself, and you did a great job of that on that post :)

I MUST SAY WAR HAMMER JUST LOOKS LIKE A GUILD WARS MEANING ALL PVP MMO THAT YOU ACTUALLY PAY FOR. WHY PAY FOR PURE PVP WITH A LITTLE STORY WHEN YOU CAN PLAY GUILD WARS? I MYSELF AM LOOKING AT AOC OR DFO AS THEY HAVE A NICE PVP SETUP AND A REASON WHY TO PLAY AT TOP LEVELS BECAUSE YOULL BE FIGHTING FOR SOMETHING SUBSTANTIAL WAR HAMMER IS LIKE WOW IN THE FACT THAT YOU FIGHT AND ONCE THE PVP INSTANCE IS OVER WOW YOU HAVE NOTHING BUT A EMPTY VICTORY. IF YOU WANT EMPTY VICTORIES PLAY WAR HAMMER. IF YOU WANT SUBSTANCE PLAY DFO OR AOC OR EVEN AN OLDIE LIKE DAOC.

- Avery, why bother? I know you hate WAR, go complain to someone who cares. This video came out about a month ago and they posted it with the previous one that was less then 2 weeks ago. If you haven't noticed they post all of the VotM and they missed those two. Do you understand now?

This video has been out a while and lucky for you mmorpg.com continues its warhammer promoting to the extreme. This video shows slow combat, costumes like ones in wow, nothing new here, its a quick video put out to help you forgot it was pushed back/ delayed. If the RvR was so great to begin with why are they changing it by design again? Why can't they show us large scale.

- This is VotM #9, from the end of Sept. The HD 720p version from the Warhammer site shows alot more detail. Well worth the download...

- Of course they wait to fight. If you didn't notice, they wern't using special attacks. All other MMOs have slow combat, when people aren't attacking with everything they have. And yea, this is new, before, we've just had "Pre-alpha" teaser vids. I think tyhe game looks like it's comeing along great! Vids don't do games justice anyway.

- Chronicles of Spellborn makes this look like the PoS trading on a popular licence that it is. I am aware of it's build status, but boy this just looks clunky and laboured. GW have always aimed their games at the 13 year old teen gamer, and this looks no different from all that I have seen. Oh well... at least it keeps the kiddies busy for a while.
