Hey all.

I just resubbed to WAR and wanted to ask, before I am able to fully jump in later tonight, what are the major changes I need to be aware of? Last I played, everyone was running SC's to get marks for the RvR weapons/armor. Is that still happening or has a new patch/dynamic altered how people gear up/play?

I do see that they consolidated servers and that you can now make Order and Destro on the same server (wtf?). I had heard that it is not wise to have a T4 character under RR70 (which makes my main terribly unwise).

I tried to get back into it a few months ago.  I found that I was so lost that it wasn't even close to being fun.  A lot has changed so you will really have to have patience with the new content.  I felt like they had such an issue with balancing all the time that the changes came to rapidly and really hurt the gameplay for me. 

In fact, I was recently cleaning out my closet and found the CE box with all the gear.  I didn't even bother trying to sell it, I just pitched all of it.  Including the little model of Grumack and Gasbag lol.  The game was way over hyped for my taste.  If you are going to give it a second chance you will find that there has been massive changes in the combat.  Not for the better IMO.

I was just on it again, after being away for almost a year.  I like it, but ive always liked Warhammer, the table game etc .. so for me its been fun to be back.  I play a healer, ive noticed or it seems anyways that things are a little easier for me to kill, but for the most part i run around healing groupies ..  

something to do till GW2 comes out and i run off to try that.   But i always have fun for a while when i go back to warhammer. I love the open world pvp; characters and class's .  Sure the game could have been a lot better, but its not a bad game, there are a lot of others that are worse.  I just hope when warhammer 40k comes out it will be a huge improvement over this game is all.

This is true. I personally like the changes they made to oRVR. Maybe it's just me and all the people playing.
