Greetings, I'm taking a trip back to Warhammer after playing it for awhile at release. I've decided to start new characters so I can learn whats changed as I play.  I tried to make a Dwarven Engineer but it didn't let me choose which City I start in. I remember back when I started before you could choose which city. I was hoping to start in the Dwarven city.

Is this because I'm still within the 10 days of my free trial for a returning player? It would seem  strange to limit it on a returning player account. I know it is limited on the free accounts, but I'm pretty sure mines not a fre account. Did I miss something somewhere?

There are only 2 cities, one for Order and one for Destuction, always have been.

If you mean starting zones, yeah, they merged them to one for each side.

There should be an item in your inventory that lets you go to your races starting zone. IT just sends everyone to the same one initially because thats where T1 Trialers are secluded to.

Yes the starting zones , my bad :).  OK so if I use the item in my inventory then it will let me go to one of the other citys? Then I could bind there and be safe if I should die?

Yes.

And you dont HAVE to use that item to get there, you can just go from any flight master if you already made it to an area where there is one. That item is just a free ride there. If you want RvR action though, just stick to the Empire vs Chaos zone. Only point really in doing the other sis if you want the Influence for the gear, but 90% of the action happens in Empire vs Chaos.
