I can log in anytime during the day Australian time but get "critical error" message around 6pm onwards every day ( so say

around 2am in some American timezones). Do all the standard stuff . Disable firewall. Disable Trend. Check that nothing else

is running. Check that I have good internet speed etc. Driving me crazy. Appeals to EA and Bioware just give me the same

old crap so what is actually happening? Do they do something to servers at that time or what?

i'd be increasing security on system rather than removing it.. run a full system scan with housecall, and also spybot s&d.. also make sure your router is protected properly if your using one...

That would be about the time that they are backing up the servers, but that error shouldn't be persistent.  You should be able to keep trying and get in.  There have been some folks complaining recently about critical errors at login if you check the Mythic forums.  I haven't encountered it on my subbed account or my trial account.  Hope you can get it sorted.

i don't know what the current state of the game is, but i was under the impression it was on minimal support, chances are they would have gotten around to answering you eventually, even if it was a generic, check the faqs kind of thing..

hmm 6 months. 10 posts. I don't think they "give a shit". I know its server side I just don't know why.
