I think fire Mark Jacobs is a little harsh. But I do wonder why he is starting to lie. All you have to so is search and watch the Videos. He said in the VN boards you can just to quests and never touch RVR and PQ's to get to 40. Now with this new patch some higher quests where people ARE hitting a wall and have to GRIND to level which MJ still says is NOT there. Yet now you can do some of those quest over and over and over.. BOY wont that be fun. man I cant wait.

Queues on my realm are 5 minutes or less except really late at night.  Generally any Scenario pops, but in t3, Tor anroc pops the most since order does have the huge knockback advantage.

Needless to say, I got to 29 from pqs/scenarios/quests before I started falling behind the level of mobs by 3 or so.  But, I did a ton RvR, and less group PQs since I am a slow leveler, and friends/guildys passed me.

People will sure whine if everything isnt exactly the way they want it all the time.  Let me know if you find a game that is perfect, Id like to know!

My Bad. I was mostly ranting. (I do feel that there needs to be accountability and that the roll-out is, at very least, sub-par). Mark Jacobs is not the CEO of anything, but rather a VP and GM. And he should, perhaps not be fired, but firing those who failed him. Yes, everybody's stock is down, but if you read anything other than headlines- you will realize that ERTS is down 30% because they banked on this game being their major source of profit for 2008. The game was delayed an additional 6-8 months to put on "polish"- and even those who are die hard in love with this game have to admit that they are still far from a completely polished product. This game will make a metric fuck ton of money for EA--- in 2009.

Dunno, I was on the mailing list for WAR for a long time. I think that Mythic was pretty good about telling people what to expect in their game including the cuts of classes and some of the races' cities. I am not estatic about the cuts, but at least Mythic did tell us about them!

In the European servers, I have found that even rolling med/med can be difficult for finding a decent population in open RvR. I'm primarily on a med/high server where as an Order player I'm finding it very difficult to do any open RvR at all. It's also difficult in that whatever couple of stragglers that do go out in the frontier on the Order side get steamrolled in seconds by a much larger group of Destruction. I have queued for several scenarios but so far can only get into certain ones, which sucks because I can't unlock tome quests that require the relatively unplayed scenarios. The saving grace though is that I almost never have to wait more than a few minutes to get into the popular scenarios, especially since as Order we always suffer from too little population rather than from having to queue.

I think this is a matter for time to heal. Some servers will probably bleed to death, but others will probably normalise, especially as players realise that Destruction isn't as uber as they may think and Order is probably not as sucky as they may think. In DAoC, it took years for people to roll different realms, but there it was more difficult to maximise a toon especially once things like ToA and SC were put in the game. At least WAR doesn't have as many time sinks atm. I think things will balance out faster. At least I hope they do because my experience so far as playing as an Order player has pretty much sucked and that's after choosing a couple of different servers.

I'm playing on EU Eltharion. We got full/full. There are way too many people everywhere. Can't even farm influence solo in t2 like I did when I was leveling my main.
We got big T4 battle yesterday (more than 100 people from both side) and gonna have even bigger today.
World RvR is everywhere - from t1 to t4. I got ganked 5 times during 1 hour yesterday...
Every zone is full. We constantly got zone crashes on account of population (couldn't get to troll country for 2 hours yesterday). Well, I hope some people will leave our server when WotLK get started...

Op its ok to have your opinion but how ignorant are you of the economy right now that you blame the 30% drop on the game!  LOL

Have you noticed the DOW down just about the same or every other stock that isnt a miracle stock like dendrion which is getting ready to release a cure for colon cancer so there up 40%(there a lucky one if you happen to have money in them and know whats going on) .  But yeah the economy downfall is all because of this game for there stock  lol. 

If economy was normal they would be + or - 5 % which is normal for a game company to fluctuate.  As for the game itself, yeah its not what we dreamed of but they did try ad they are listening to there players from what i noticed noticed.  Everything we bring up they get right on it and let us know where they are on it.  Im not a big fan of warhammer but the game is entertaining for now and im having fun till something else catch's my eye.

p.s.  HAHAHA im still laughing about the stock drop you blame on the game.  Its pretty funny.

Listen "FraFra13"-  At any rate, the Dow Jones Industrials, while a great tracker for the market, does not mean that all stock react the same way. For instance, if you were to look at Activision in the same period (09/18-10/10) while it declined, only did so by about 25%- a far cry from the 37% of EA. (I was going to buy in for the WAR bump) My opinion is that sharp of a decline occured because they didn't hit the million subscribers that they estimated right out of the gate and EA had stated that WAR was their primary source of profit for 2008.

Well it's a bit cheesy. But, I think we can say objectivelly that WAR is not a great game. It's good and fun for some, but overall, it's a "general meh" as someone said. Or a good game if you want. But not a great one.

Going nowhere, I don't know what you mean by that, I just mention it.

Considering how the game has progressed. All I can say is that I am right.

BTW- I am now anxiously waiting on Spellborn.
