Here is mine

The game is a blast!

If i had to compare it to something it would be - Team Fortress 2 but with RPG elements.

Why TF2 ?

Because of class/role dynamic. And absolute fun factor "Lets play one more round" effect

I am not PVP player , I hate PVP , but I leveled exclusively from PVP , i loved it so much.

So even if you are PVE player like me. Dont worry. PVE in WAR is not frustrating, its FUN.
And the game is CASUAL. If you want you can pop up for an hour or two and just have a good fun session.

There is just so much to do. And everything advances your XP

I give it a thumbs up.  There's room for it to grow and improve, but I definitely plan on continuing with it.

I had fun as well, when I could that is. I'm more worried about client crashes then anything. Had lots of them, tons of graphic glitches and some files getting torn apart after 2nd or 3rd launches of the game, making it an unplayable mess. After reinstalling it would work out fine again. Maybe something with the patcher, no clue.

I'll play WAR but down the road once these problems are dissolved.

Same here. I'm excited for the CE headstart tomorrow. My hardest decision, though, is which character I will focus on tomorrow - my Black Orc or my Bright Wizard. Two completly different play styles, but both a hoot to play.

I enjoyed the short period I was able to play it. I played almost every class for a couple of levels and I enjoyed everyone of them. So I'll definitly be waiting for the Early Start code entry tommorow!

Thumbs up so far. There's still things to improve but yeah I like the base of the game already.

Waiting for the CE box to arrive.. and getting the swords sharp for the head start ofc.

WAR is the game that every other PVP game from the past few years wanted to be - high pressure PVP action at its very finest.  It is a lot more besides but that is just icing on the cake.  Congrats Mythic on a superb game!

I found it pretty stale and boring to tell you the truth. Bought the pre-order but won't be buying the retail.

It IS a winner.

Most fun I have had in a MMORPG in years.

I was not even a PvP player (never did RvR in DAoC; go figure).

But HERE!  Wow!  Is this game something else, or what?

My level 8 Order Bright Wizard had 70 PvP victories.
Pretty good for a PvP newb, I think.

And all the PvE questing, exploration, and such that I could want.

Canceled my WoW account.
Canceled my LotRO account.

This is going to be the game I am playing for the foreseeable future.

So faar the best MMO ive ever played, and im telling you ive been playing WoW for 3 years and ive tried all games on top 40 at this site for atleast 1 week each.... its totally awsome PvP is gr8,RVR is awsome and PVE+public quest is about the most fun u will ever have in an MMO..... soo to all of you Nay sayers, PLEASE try the game and you will <3 it..... 100/10 from me THUMBS UP! see ya in

Best MMO I've played in years.

I came and felt it was for the youngins tooo easy! I saw somewhat a wow protege :( Soo I'm gone but to those that liked it enjoy!

Good production. Though as almost anyone knows , I'm a LotRO fan and WAR "for me" just doesnt compare to the story as well as the role I have in Middle Earth :)

Unfortunately, i didn't like it at all.   I experienced a lot of animation glitches, the graphics didn't look good at all (even on highest settings), the combat was clunky and boring, and apart from the big sights the maps were nothing to write home about, boring even.   I encountered places with more then 5 different mobs all sharing a small location on the map, which made me feel as if i was playing one of those free asian grinders. It just felt so... random.   If i must describe my experience with warhammer in one word it would be:  annoying.

love it....just cant wait to play and keep a character :)

What's CE? and how can I play it early?  tommorrow?  hmm, can't find anything on the website

I'll give it a 7 out of 10.  I guess after reading up on Warhammer and watching those video's of them talking about it.  I expected something different.  RvR where levels and gear still hold too much importance.  It does have alot of interesting features though.  Some good like the Tome of Knowledge.  Some bad, like the Bolster Buff.  Sorry the Bolster Buff (IMHO) is completely useless if you get stuck in a game with people that don't need it.  The game lacks balance when it comes to stuff like that.  I found that gear and levels were far more important then player skill as far as Scenario's are concerned.   In the Open RvR objective maps, while levels and gear can still hurt you.  Tactics can and often do help deflat a bit of that advantage.

it was great other then  that 50% of the guild picked a se server and are set on it and the others have picked a CE server and won't change. bastards!

To the OP, I am a HUGE fan of TF2 and MMO's, so I'm pretty surprised that you drew such a unique comparison betweent the two games, but then again I think it's pretty smart :)

Out of curiosity, when you compare it to TF2, do you mean you compare it not only to the specialisations of each class of TF2, but also in perhaps... roleplaying? I know that sounds strange, but remember the emotes and taunts that each class has in TF2, I'm hoping that perhaps at least one MMO out there (hopefully WO:AOR) has decided to perhaps that same dynamic to the game.

Very good game and the best part about it that it is only going to get better over time.

Cancelled my WoW account and bought a new PC the day before yesterday so my missus can play alongside... A bit skeptically at first she tried out the game at my machine where I got it installed and after the first RvR scenario (at level 4) with her Bright Wizard she got pretty much incoherent and refused to budge from my PC until they shut down the OB servers... "Look, look! I exploded again!!" was pretty much all I could get out of her (she is a natural redhead and it might have something to do with it.)

I really hope we'll manage to DL her client before the headstart goes live else I won't get to play much.

So far it looks like the real deal. For me this is WoW 2.0 - everything that I hoped for from that game but which never materialized due to cretin EQ-school devs is here. You actually have FUN most of the time in WAR, rather than 20% fun and 80% grind-to-earn-the-right-to-eventually-have-fun we've become used to in WoW and similar games.
