I am not sure if it is server load or some bug they improved/squashed, but my FPS has gone from 20-30 avg up to 60-90 avg. Obviously the game is running smoother, which is helping the "combat feel" a ton. I am not convinced yet that I like the "combat feel" yet, but it is 1000% better than any time before this evening. Before my FPS was working well, I did try the Vram slider which didn't seem to help so I put it back to default. About an hour later I logged back in to a different server and my FPS has been great. 10 minutes later... I checked other server and it is fine too. Although I went into a PQ area and there was probably 20 other players and FPS was dipping to 17 FPS even on lowest setting. This is a big concern being that the game is based around large scale PvP. Back to more beta... |

i do not see how can you get 90 fps and 17.. on same pcs.. i never had fps dropping due players.. i wont even mention that most scenarios are caped on 100 fps.. and only in mob puplated " fancy " looking zones i drop to 50~ . sli support in this game is far from good.. sadly, i should be able to run aa on 16 but i cant.. ( i could in aoc.. ) |

Mob areas didn't seem to effect me at all tonight, but players did. I'll fraps a lil of it later if I find the time, you can get FPS to show up on FRAPs vids yes? EDIT: I didn't do video but did Benchmarking with it for just over 20 min. This was pretty much all NPC, in High Elves Starter area. FPS Stats Frames | Time (ms) | Min | Max | Avg I'll get more later today, hopefully with lots of other players. |
