seriously. it's dark. On my lcd screen if I look at it from anything other than straight on , I can't see...at all. Even looking at the screen dead on it is WAYYYY too dark. Gamma slider please.

Sounds like a problem with YOUR gamma settings. Iv'e never had that problem. Try tuning it through your video card.

Yeah, i did that..but I assure you it isnt my setup. Everything is new (built for aoc). The game is dark...at least in the elf area. I keep finding myself leaning into my screen to be able to see.  No reason to have to be 14 inches from 26 inch monitor to be able to see.

Plus, is a gamma slider really so much to ask?

Game is too dark in all zones for me as well. I don't have a problem in any other games either.

And honestly how can they not have a gamma slider?

This would be an excellent thing to file with the in-game feedback tool...

Yeah, I tried to beta test it as well and is too dark for me to play. I can adjust it from my end, but I will not because I need to leave my settings as they are for the work I do on my computer. It is the game makers responsibility to make a game adjustable for all users (to a certain degree).

There is a gamma slider, along with a "brightness boost".  Go to settings either at the character screen or in game and then click on the video tab.  There's two checkerboards and sliders and you want to make the checkerboards dissapear basically.

People in this thread might have wanted to actually go to "video settings" and see if there's a gamma slider staring at you in the face before saying the game is missing basic things.

For some reason, this thread has jumped from Gods and Heroes to Warhammer. My post was in regards to Gods and Heroes.
