Which race would you like to see appear first in future content...?

Undead, no question. 

voted lizard men   but keep in mind of Mythic wants to keep things equal they will need to add two races (one for  each side) or three (make their own side)....i didn't pick skaven because they are already in the game (as NPCs) 

and i don't know if lizardmen are yet

Not sure if they're adding more playable races in any expansion, because as needalife said, they have to be fighting as kind of mortal enemies and they have to tie in with Orks, Chaos, Dark Elves and/or High Elves, Empire, and Dwarves somehow. That's tough. There can be some good PvE stuff added though that involves some of those races, never know.

Some folks weren't thrilled with the initial racial choices Mythic went with.  Not such a strange topic.  But polls like this have been going around these forums for quite some time.... been a while though since I've seen one.

I really like the idea of playing as an evil dwarf for some reason...I bet GW and Mythic could put something together. Please.

As long as Order gets Ogres.  Then we really could have football games in WAR.  Ogre/Orc linemen,  Human QB's and running backs and Elf/Dark Elf recievers.

Each side can use the opposing dwarves has footballs.

Oh ya, Goblins can be the stinky refs that people beat up on bad calls.

Keep in mind that any race added has to have a logical pairing, since I doubt we will get any shared races across realms. I understand the poll is purely "What you would like" and not "What you think it might be", but I highly doubt Wood Elves will ever be in. Two types of Elves is plenty for now, plus Wood elves are basically neutral and would not side with anyone.

I do not think we will see an additional racial pairing for 2-3 expansions. In the meantime Mythic needs to focus on:

• Filling out the missing archetypes in 4 of the existing armies
• Add four capital cities (each of which is a huge undertaking, believe me)

Essentially, they need to finish the races they have! I am not saying this content will necessarily be expansion content, but I doubt Mythic is going to rush into doing more racial stuff when it has been shown it takes a long time to do properly.

Remember, this is not like some MMORPGs where you add a race and it can be any existing class, here each race requires (if done fully) four careers, many warring zones, many PQs, and a huge capital city. You basically need to add 33% more game!

I expect the first 1-2 expansions to just add more PvE content, different advancement paths, more gear, more scenarios, etc. Rank will probably never increase.

Skaven and Slann.

I think Skaven are the next most popular and iconic race in the warhammer world..  any future expansion would have to have them.

I suppose they would fight against Bretonnia..  or perhaps Wood Elves?

Personally I'd like undead..  but who could they fight?  Araby?

I dont see Lizardmen or Chaos Dwarfs being strong possibilities..  they dont have obvious opponents and I *think* theyre less popular than other races in the tabletop game..

It was stated a while back that skaven are more of an infestation and it would be hard to implement them as a player race, since they are as much of an threat to destruction as they are to order.

I did a search of these forums on this topic last month and the general consensus for woodelves is they are a xenophobic race and also not likely to actually side with anyone.

Tomb kings/Vampire counts - Too powerful by far!

Maybe Chaos beastmen/centaurs vs Lizardmen would fit somehow I don't know.

Going back to skaven though I personally would love to play as one, it would be nice to see if they can come up with a sound way of implementing them as a player race in the future.
