We should all know that Mythic plans to implement a system where your character changes physically when he/she levels. My question is if they plan for the Black Orcs to actually turn black. The pictures on the class page on the offical site are actually of green orcs (there is one of a black orc), which is kind of disheartening. Any one know for sure?

idk for sure but seriosuly i think thats a no in WOW u pick skin even if ur guy looks really bad it says on the site (www.warhammeronline.com) that the beards will grow in length and orcs get larger things like that like ur skin wouldnt really change.... so i hope i answerd ur question the best i could

I don't think Black Orcs are actually black. I think they're just refered to that way by other Orcs because they use alot of armor. I figure that some Orcs don't understand the concept of Armor, so when asked about it they'de probably just refer to the Orc as being "Black". Black being the color of their armor. |

The pictures of black orcs on the main site show them with green skin so its a fairly safe bet that its their armor.

black orcs, are not black, just bigger and more armoured than the average orc. even grimgore is a black orc - tho in WAR the black orcs refers to being a massive tank, while in the tabletop they are both strong melees, and well armoured. |

There's no clear description as to why they are called Black orcs, they just explain that their skin is much darker than that of normal orcs, sometimes almost blackish. They are also larger and tougher than normal orcs, and are always much better armoured and equipped than their lesser brethren. So it could be due to their skin color, or that they're huge, lumbering heaps of metal.
Not sure if their skin color will change gamewise later on or not. |

the older & more powerfull a orc becomes the darker green and larger he gets. Black orc were originally created by Chaos dwarves to be a slave race and escpaed from them
