I wouldn't mind subbing back to Warhammer Online, but i just want to know if there's any improvements in Bright Wizard class? I am tired of constant balances, false promises, and constant nerfs. 

Or should I continue to steer clear away from this game? Thanks!

Last time I played, BWs trashed everything in sight, so long as melee didn't reach them.

Yeah Bright wizards are by far one of the most powerful classes in WAR.  There was no point in the game where they were really bad as your post seems to make it sound.

The ones I've run into as a Chosen either crush me, or get crushed. There have only been a few that I'd call 50/50. But I'm right in the middle of T3, so they could be as much as 6 levels higher or lower. And I've always had a tough time concentrating on healers when the BW starts burning stuff off because they can burn you SO bad SO fast if you aren't built just right.

I think there is a 10day going on, you should log in and try. Just be concious that they'll ask for a resub in the process. I stuck around, so it isn't a big deal. But free 10 days with 30 day purchase isn't the same as free 10 day trial so think about it, or make sure you can cancel before they actually charge you.

And be sure to land on Gorfang or Ironrock. I've logged in at ridiculous hours and still had a good time.

Bright Wizard has always been a OP class since day 1 this game has been conceived, even after the CC nerf's... they still can light it up. I mean really!? They had like every single CC known to man in this game... pretty much, they had to be taken down a peg. And this is coming from a person that loved and respected the BW... being a Destro player. Wasn't for them, I wouldn't had so much fun laughing at Destro crying in region chat...... "OMG BW"S NEED TO BE NERFED NOW OMFG!!!!!"

Actually there was a period were they were pretty bad at Rank 40 due to the changes in resistance %s or whatever it was. It lasted for a bit then they lowered them because people were able to negate over like 75% of their dps so they'd end up doing more damage to themselves than the opponent. But don't let facts get in the way - this guy likely played during that period.

Though even during that time the well geared BWs and sorcs were doing just fine.

Recent change to balance sorc and bw was that bw got their M2 aoe stun removed, that was a good thing but harder to fight against zergs but it was good in that sense that now other aoe classes have more distinct roles in large and small scale rvr.
