I played this game for a month soon after it came out and for another month earlier this year.

I had to stop playing because of school, work, and my old PC just couldn't handle the game anymore.

I liked the game because it was based on PvP but I heard the population is really low and it seems like everyone hates the game in general.

If you don't think I should resub, then please give me an alternative MMORPG based on PvP that I can play.

Since you all voted No, can I please get at alternative game to play?

Since you played I'm guessing you probably have a 10 day free "come back" pass in your mail somewhere. Can't hurt to give it a try. Just remember it's very possible you'll need to transfer off the server because most servers were "shut down" to new players, so basically they're dead.

If you want a game to play though, can't go wrong with Fallout 3. If you don't have it yet,, I just saw it was 50% off on Steam at the moment.

It's not a MMO though, but damn it's a great game :)

WAR will improve, it takes time, main compalint is the end game, on comparison WoW's end game sucked for 2 years before it was hafl way decent, give Mythic time to do their thing, this game will grow, and make a come back.

No, you would not, be sure to pick a populated server, the largest are Iron Rock for Core gameplay, and for ORvR choose Dark Crag. Hope this helps and hope to see you ingame!

Becareful if you use the 10 day trial and you choose not to play after that make sure you cancel your account overwise they'll charge you.

And how much longer are you going to give them another 6 months a year, the give them more time excuse is getting rather old and stale now, and no WOW end game didn't suck for 2 years so you can give that a rest too.

I just end my subscription.  I really like this game...but the current state of it is broken imo.  Mythic needs to fix a bunch of stuff and the new expansion is a bust.  They didn't think about rvr or endgame when bringing out the new content.  I think the game will improve (hope) and then I will probably come back if another game hasn't grabbed me by then.   Bottom line is this game needs end game and rvr work before it will get my money and play time again.

Look, did you even read my post? No game gets better overnight, and none launch without a hitch and perfect content. NONE! Everyone expects a new MMO to have everything at launch. It will not happen, development and continued development takes time. I played WoW since internal Alpha testing, yes longer then anyone, infact my sub is still going. Don't ever even for a second think otherwise that WoW was even half the game it is now until a few years after release, it was a mess until about 2 years after release.

Main complaint is end game, which does take time, I hope they get it worked out and continue the hard work, as this game has tons of potential that has yet to be tapped.

Simply don't personally agree with this. I played the game for the EU release, which was 3 months after the game released in the US and the game ran great, it was rare to see a bug that wasn't caused by the mass amounts of people hitting the servers. Lootbug/Mail lag was probably the worst of it.

I agree the game has potential and I am hoping that the potential will be met.   Problem is lots of things have potential that never go anywhere.  Dont get me wrong....i am a huge fan of this game....just tired of the same old problems and it seems like they are creating new problems instead of fixing the exsisting ones.   I have 5 maxed and geared toons and the game was getting stale....then the new expansion had all promises of this fun rvr experience, that was honestly a lie....the expansion is a bust and that is what led me to quit the game for a bit and go try some new stuff.   Hopefully they can get it together and I can come back to a better game than it is now.

I'm going to resub and play for 10 days and will continue my subscription if I am having any fun.

I'm actually having a lot of fun in WAR atm.

On Dark Crag scenarios pop every minute or so and there is a lot of world RvR going on all the time.

I'm not having any performance issues, everything is running fine and I'm having a blast.

Pre-order AION and you can try the beta out RIGHT NOW and see if you like it. It will be releasing in NA about three months.

It's the same type of game, PvPvE but it's getting a lot of good reviews from the people who have played it so far.

If you don't like it, you can cancel the pre-order.

I have no intention of playing Aion but unless they screw up the NA servers in some way it's already very clear that it's performance is way beyond WAR's performance. Rest of the game of course remains to be seen, but it has amazing performance from reports of people who are playing the chinese version.

Have you recently change to a new pc? If not whats the spec of the old pc that you mention?

Just wana see why my average pc have tons of stuttering, lag etc...

As I've said before I really like WAR minus one flaw that I cannot get past. Scenarios. If they would remove scenarios for even one server I would come back today.

I hate leveling in a near empty world with no parties for PQs, no one taking part in sieges, everyone just logs in, clicks the SC button and waits.

May not be bad to everyone, but it's not my cup of tea.

Cool.  You appear to know, and other than some really vague statements, no one else seems to.

Can you describe exactly how Aion endgame works - what makes it "brilliant"?  What is your exact experience with it?
